00:06he had an OPS that was in the 600s, I think, if I'm not mistaken.

00:13he had a negative wins above replacement.

00:15That is a factual statement.

00:17He was a losing player when he went out.

00:19So whatever it was you were doing when Jordan finally had to go out

00:22with a hand injury, whatever it was you were doing as a team

00:25was not being positively affected by Jordan Alvarez.

00:27You could argue that Isak Paredes has been their best player this season.

00:31He's in that – it's him or Jeremy Pena, and then, you know,

00:34obviously Framber and Hunter Brown have their own degree of value,

00:38and Hader as well based on, you know, who they are to the pitching staff.

00:42But as far as everyday players go, you could argue that Isak Paredes

00:45has been the best player on this baseball team.

00:46And he's gotten better and better and better as the season's gone on.

00:50He's by far their biggest power threat.

00:52He's got 15 home runs, and it feels like he's hit 10 of them

00:55in the last week and a half.

00:56So this would be – if he's – and that's – a hamstring scares me, man.

01:02If he's out for any extended period of time, this is bad.

01:05I mean, it's – I'm not – I mean, I'm kind of stating the obvious here.

01:07Like, this is really bad.

01:09There's no solution that's getting you 15 home runs right now.

01:12Like, this is – this is awful.

01:14This is terrible, terrible news we wake up to on Friday the 13th.

01:19The good news is they won.

01:21They've won or split all six of their – the last six series, is it?

01:28They've – so it's – I mean, it's been a good run here.

01:30A team cobbling it together somehow, some way.

01:35Without – without – hardly any actual starting pitchers that you feel good about.

01:40They continue to win series.

01:42So the – the fact that they – they've been a scrappy, scrappy bunch, anchored by their bullpen, largely.

01:48And that's – and that's what scares me, is that Isak Paredes is the one guy that's – it's not about the scrappiness.

01:54He's about the – he's the guy who, with a swing of a bat, can get you two or three runs.

01:58They don't have that right now.

01:59They've won or split each of their last six series.

02:04They're eight games above .500, which is their high watermark for the season.
