00:00On an ordinary day, Earth ceased to be bright and turned into an endless hunt.
00:04Creatures emerged from its depths. People called them reapers, and they quickly destroyed
00:0999% of the planet's population. For unknown reasons, the reapers do not attack humans at
00:15altitudes above 8,000 feet, which allowed a small portion of the global population to survive.
00:21In America, the safe zones turn out to be the Rocky Mountains in Colorado.
00:25In the settlement of Lost Gulch Refuge lives a boy named Hunter. One day, he ventured beyond a
00:31boundary marked by a blue line. His father, Will, scolds him for taking such a risk. Will is
00:37particularly concerned because Hunter has a lung condition that prevents him from running,
00:41and after the death of his wife, Tara, Hunter is all he has left of his family. Later, Will tells
00:47his neighbor Katie that Hunter only wanted to see the neighboring settlement. Katie feels sorry for
00:52the boy, as there are no other children in his village with whom he can be friends,
00:56and above all, he terribly misses his mother. Meanwhile, in the yard next door, a woman named
01:02Na is unsuccessfully trying to find a way to kill the reapers. She tries several alloys, making bullets,
01:09and shooting them at a piece of reaper armor. Despite her efforts, Na remains skeptical of her
01:14experiments and often remembers Tara, who joined her on a dangerous mission to acquire essential
01:19chemicals and perished in the jaws of a reaper. Help me reach my goal of 10 likes and 5 comments.

01:37That night, Hunter suffers another attack, and although Will manages to stabilize him,
01:42he realizes that their supply of necessary medicines is almost depleted. The next day,
01:46he buys macaroni at the local store, a food that is now worth a fortune. Despite the cost,
01:52it is Hunter's birthday, and macaroni is his favorite dish. However, Hunter is curious as to
01:58why his father no longer uses the radio. Will explains that electricity has become a scarce resource
02:03and must be reserved for Hunter's life support machine. He also mentions that the filters for
02:07the machine are running low, and to replace them, he must travel to the nearest town, located below the
02:13safe altitude. Later, Katie, who is Tara's close friend, visits Will and reminds him that it's
02:19Friday, which leads them to remember how weekends used to be before the invasion. Their conversation
02:24is interrupted by a shot from Nasgarten, who tests another bullet. They exchange surprised looks at his
02:30persistence. That night, Hunter's condition worsens again. Will gives him an injection, which barely
02:35relieves the symptoms. The next day, Will approaches Na and announces that he plans to head to the city
02:40tomorrow, claiming he knows a safe path. Na insists that such a thing doesn't exist. Will explains that
02:46the filters in Hunter's device are nearly depleted, and he has no choice but to retrieve replacements
02:52from a hospital. Na warns him that the journey requires descending through paths patrolled by the
02:57Reapers, and then reveals his secret. He plans to use an abandoned mine that runs through the mountain
03:02to reach the city. Na reminds him that the Reapers originated underground, and that the mines are their
03:07natural habitat. However, Will insists that he knows the mine well, and that the distance to travel is
03:13relatively short. He sets a meeting time for the next day, though Na doesn't firmly state whether he
03:18will join him. After Will leaves, Na spends a lot of time staring at a pirate flag, a banner he had
03:23promised his R over the mountains, once he figured out a way to fight the Reapers. The next morning,
03:28Will visits the local armorer, who provides him with a rifle and grenades. While the weapons are not
03:33particularly effective against the Reapers, they can at least slow them down. The armorer shares his
03:38personal supplies and wishes him good luck. Katie arrives upset because Will hadn't told her about
03:44his plans. Despite her objections, she arms herself and declares that she will go with him. Na greets
03:50Katie with hostility and insists that she is not prepared to face the Reapers, as she has never seen
03:55one up close. Na predicts certain death for the group. Will explains his plan. Once they reach a ski
04:01slope, they will use a lift to descend to the entrance of the mine. He hopes the equipment
04:05is intact and that he can make it work. The group sets off in response to the questions.
04:10Na reveals that he hopes to reach his laboratory, where he knows the specific chemical he needs to
04:15continue his work. He also carries two of his inventions, a compass and a device capable of
04:21detecting nearby Reapers, by picking up their high bio-electromagnetic pulses, much stronger than
04:26any creature on earth. Soon they reach a fire path, about a mile from the ski slope. However,
04:32this marks the end of the safe zone. The group crosses the boundary and moves cautiously, weapons
04:37in hand. They encounter several wrecked vehicles and rummage through them for supplies and weapons.
04:43Katie finds a grenade launcher, showcasing her Texan upbringing and skill with this equipment.
04:49Meanwhile, Na discovers a fragment of a Reaper's scale. As she retrieves it, a heated argument breaks
04:54out between her and Katie. Katie blames Na for Tara's death, while Na dismisses Katie as an
05:00inexperienced nuisance. Will intervenes, breaking up the fight, and the group continues toward the
05:06abandoned ski area. Suddenly, echoes from the forest surprise the group. Looking over, they discover
05:11wild horses now roaming freely in the mountains. Shortly, they arrive at the ski resort. However,
05:18although the summit and safety are within reach, Na warns that getting there is impossible as a Reaper
05:23is nearby. Na runs toward the backup generators, trying to power the elevator, while Katie stands
05:29guard with the grenade launcher, waiting for the creature to emerge from the forest. However,
05:34she sees no signs of it. Finally, the beast emerges from the tree line. Katie shoots, but the grenade
05:40misses the agile monster. The Reaper charges toward her, while Na manages to activate the lift and jumps
05:46into the gondola, which begins its ascent. Na shoots at the Reaper, giving Katie the opportunity to
05:52climb the elevator tower. Katie is forced to jump and barely manages to grab onto the elevator seat.
05:58The Reaper, unfazed, grabs the cable with its tentacle and breaks it, causing the group to fall
06:04to the ground. They narrowly escape to the safe zone. That night, they rest in an old guardhouse.
06:10Katie admits she is terrified and confesses that she hadn't realized the true nature of their enemy.
06:15She now sees the Reapers as perfect predators. Na shares her perspective on the Reapers. They don't
06:21rest or consume humans, although they relentlessly kill them. They also leave other creatures untouched,
06:28which leaves Na to question their biological nature. As the women fall asleep, Will reflects on a
06:33conversation with his wife Tara. She had urged him to trust Na, claiming that she could save the world.
06:39Will was annoyed by the idea, believing that Tara shouldn't risk her life, especially with a vulnerable
06:44son to care for. Nah, having no family, had nothing to lose. However, Tara reminded him that Hunter's
06:51filters would eventually run out, and he would die unless they acted. Will couldn't dissuade her.
06:56The next morning, the group arrives in an old mine that Will knows well from his time as a miner.
07:01However, the lower levels fall below the safe zone, making them vulnerable to the Reapers.
07:07Additionally, the tunnels are poorly sealed, increasing the danger. Will insists that the dangerous
07:12area is only 210 meters long, and that Na's tracker should detect any nearby Reaper. However,
07:19Na responds that the device won't work underground. Furthermore, humans exhale carbon dioxide,
07:25which the Reapers can instantly detect. After venting his frustrations with Will,
07:29Na is the first to descend into the mine. Upon reaching the desired level, they find the passage
07:34blocked with welded metal. The only way forward is to descend another level. But this area is
07:40undoubtedly outside the safe zone. Will declares that he will not retreat, and the women reluctantly
07:45follow him. They descend a ladder, and Will urges them to take their time to avoid exhaling too much
07:51carbon dioxide. The team takes a break before the final push. Katie recounts how, at the beginning of
07:57the invasion, she had fought with her boyfriend, hitting him with a frying pan and driving off in her
08:01car, which ultimately saved her life. The group descends to the next level and moves forward.
08:06They cover most of the distance when a Reaper appears, forcing them to flee. Will attempts to
08:11shoot the creature, but the bullets fail to deter it. The Reaper relentlessly closes the gap,
08:17cornering the team until they are trapped in a dead end. Will orders the group to turn off their
08:22flashlights and hold their breath. The Reaper's tentacle probes the area, dangerously brushing
08:27against their faces. Will uses a flare to scare the creature, giving the group the opportunity
08:32to run toward a partially collapsed tunnel, where they take refuge. However, Katie takes a wrong turn
08:38and is caught by the Reaper's tentacles. Will watches helplessly as Katie is dragged deeper into
08:44the mine. Meanwhile, Nav spots a ladder, and both climb to a higher level, barely evading the Reaper
08:50chasing them. Finally, Nav and Will emerge from the mine and return to the surface safely, above the
08:56safe zone limit. The couple continues their journey, and soon encounters an almost intact truck, which
09:02they decide to use to travel further. Before leaving, they stop to spend the night in an abandoned
09:07house, where they manage to find some food supplies. During dinner, they remember Tara and Katie. Will
09:13regrets taking them through the mine. Nav, however, pushes him to channel his anger and fight. She reveals
09:20her plan to return to her lab to retrieve magnesium, theorizing that the Reaper's impenetrable scales
09:26generate magnetic defensive mechanisms. She believes that a bullet containing magnesium could penetrate
09:31the armor and kill the creature by igniting an internal fire. Will becomes enraged, calling her
09:37unproven theory and blaming her for the deaths of Tara and others. Nav responds by pointing out that
09:43Will now faces the same tough decisions she faced before. The next morning, they head to the city and
09:48arrive at the hospital searching for oxygen filters. The building is in ruins and looted, forcing them to
09:54climb to the upper floor. There, in an operating room, they finally find what they need. However, they
10:00soon hear the distinct sounds of a Reaper approaching, signaling an imminent attack. The couple
10:05runs, but the Reaper catches up and even grabs Will. Nav grabs a fire axe and cuts the tentacle, further
10:12enraging the monster. They retreat to the operating room, where Will orders Nav to run while he shoots the
10:18gas canisters. The resulting explosion throws the Reaper out the window, where it lies motionless below.
10:25Having achieved their goal, Will expresses his intention to return his son. Nav persuades him to
10:30help her first, arguing that if she can create the magnesium bullet, humanity might have a chance.
10:36She promises to raise her pirate flag as a sign that the Reapers can be defeated, assuring him that
10:41Katie and Tara's deaths won't be in vain. Will reluctantly agrees. They travel to Nav's old lab at the
10:47United States Department of Health. There, Nav gathers the necessary materials and begins to make
10:52the bullet while Will protects her. During the process, Will notices a photograph and discovers
10:57that Nav had a family who went with St. Peter during the Reaper invasion. She survived only because
11:02she was at work. Nav confesses that she blames herself every day for not being home, and regrets
11:08not having hugged her family for the last time. Will tries to console her, telling her that she
11:13couldn't have saved them. But Nav dismisses his words, saying that a life like that doesn't make
11:18sense to her. It will take her much longer to perfect the bullet. Nav urges Will to return to
11:23his son, whose time is running out. She promises to keep working and will join him later using her car
11:28parked outside. Will reluctantly leaves in the truck while Nav continues working. During his work,
11:34he notices an energy cell that inspires him to use cobalt instead of magnesium. Just as he finishes
11:40making the bullet, a Reaper attacks him. Meanwhile, Will speeds down the road, but the tires on his
11:45truck explode, causing him to crash into a tree on the side of the road. He is forced to run towards
11:50the safety line, but the Reapers are closing in, cornering him. Just as he is about to reach safety,
11:55he fires his weapon, expecting to meet his end. Suddenly, a shot rings out, and the attacking Reaper
12:02explodes. Nav arrives just in time, wielding cobalt-infused bullets that cause the Reapers to
12:08explode spectacularly. Upon examining the remains, the couple discovers that the Reapers are not
12:13biological creatures, but advanced machines of extraterrestrial origin, confirming Nav's theory.
12:19However, the reason behind the specific safe altitude remains a mystery. They return to Lost
12:24Gulch, where Hunter greets his father with joy. Nav raises his pirate flag, signaling to nearby
12:30settlements that he has found a way to kill the Reapers. Radio communication is restored,
12:34and survivors begin sharing instructions on how to make special bullets to fight the monsters.
12:40Later, Nav and Will visit a monument dedicated to the Fallen. They leave a bullet at the base of the
12:46monument, inscribed with Katie's name. Soon, a team of hunters armed with cobalt bullets sets out.
12:52The explosions of the mission echo through the Rocky Mountains as the Reapers are destroyed one by one.
12:57In a post-credit scene, humans are shown reclaiming their planet. One night, while Nav looks through her
13:02telescope, will joins her to watch as three bright objects enter Earth's orbit. The movie unexpectedly
13:08turns out better than expected for a post-apocalyptic monster story. However, the origin of the monsters
13:14remains unexplained, leaving room for a possible sequel that may provide the answers.
