01:56Honda director Joe Wright is now said to be in negotiations to hunt the feature adaptation based on the Sex Fuel bestselling novel by E.L. James.
02:05According to The Hollywood Reporter, a deal is not yet in place, but rumor has it that Wright is the studio's current favorite.
02:14Having successfully directed numerous projects featuring young female protagonists, Wright seems like a fitting choice for Fifty Shades,
02:21which centers on the S&M relationship between college student Anastasia Steele and billionaire playboy Christian Grey.
02:30Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti are producing the film and it is expected to hit theaters as early as summer 2014.
