00:00I hate staff meetings and I am not a fan of one-on-one meetings.
00:04Oftentimes if I'm in town, I take them for a walk and we end up at an ice cream place.
00:09I still do have one-on-ones, but we have a lot of team meetings as well.
00:13We have an executive team that I lean heavily into for guidance and counsel and advice as
00:18we're solving these problems.
00:20I do host one-on-ones with my direct reports, but they're all very, very different.
00:24I do hold my meetings with my direct reports.
00:26It's not every week.
00:27Sometimes it's every two weeks.
00:28It really depends.
00:29The things that matter to me are, I always ask for an agenda and materials in advance.
00:34I have this running Google doc of our one-on-ones and so best thing to prepare is what's on their
00:40mind.
00:41What would I want to know and what do we want to just chat about?
