Im Thriller Tin Soldier hat sich ein als "Bokushi" bekannter Prediger (Jamie Foxx) einen verschworenen Kult und eine uneinnehmbare Festung als Hauptquartier aufgebaut. Seine Opfer sind desillusionierte, vernachlässigte und traumatisierte Ex-Militärsoldat:innen. Bislang ist es noch niemandem gelungen, den Kult zu infiltireren – bis die Regierung einen ehemaligen Schüler des Bokushi engagiert, um dessen Treiben ein Ende zu setzen.
