00:00I know that territory safety for Territorians matters and public safety is the number one
00:06priority for Territorians and I understand that OC spray may make people feel more safer and that
00:12does matter but let's be very clear this is an admission of failure by Leah Finocchiaro and her
00:19CLP government. They are now telling Territorians to defend themselves because the government cannot
00:25do the job. If the Chief Minister was serious about community safety she would invest more into our
00:31police to make sure our police have better pay, our police have more housing incentives and that our
00:38police have better boots on the ground rather than handing out pepper spray and telling Territorians
00:44to hope for the best.
