What's more, Thibodeau says if Justin's friends attack the singer's faith or church -- it would only serve to strengthen Justin's bond with the church. He offers a better approach for those around him who disagree with Churchome.

00:00Attacking his faith or attacking the church is going to be the worst things that his friends
00:05can do. The best thing they can do is say, you know, listen, Justin, you're a man. You've been
00:12through, you've seen the world, you've done more than most people could ever even dream of,
00:17and you have a lot of resources at your disposal, and they can encourage him to utilize those.
00:23Maybe try to give him some information on how mind control or influence works. I'll go with
00:31influence. Robert Caldini's book, Influence, is a really important one, but Justin's got to want to
00:36do that. You know, he's got to want to. You can't force him out. What worked with me is counting my
00:43blessings every day. It's so hugely important. Instead of focusing on the negative, focus on
00:48the positive, focus on all the friends, make a list, all the friends you've had that have helped
00:52you out, your family, your job, whatever it is, anything, your car, maybe you love your car,
00:57put that on your blessing list. Thank God for it every single day. It can change your entire outlook
01:04on everything, and it's really quite amazing, but that's what I'd like to see, you know, for Justin
01:09in this case. Do good works. Do the best that you can. Don't care what anyone says, all right, but also,
01:15you know, don't be led. Just open your mind. Open your mind. That's hugely important.
01:20Always have an open mind, no matter how much the world wants to close it.
