00:00Rawia, let's start with you regarding the protests. We obviously just heard from Tony Waterman there.
00:07They've been going on for days, obviously. We know that.
00:11And although it seems to be a little bit more peaceful at the moment, there's no real let up, though, is there?
00:18No, you're absolutely right. There's no real let up.
00:21To be honest, even though, as you said, the tone has become much more peaceful, yet we see that the momentum of these protests have not waned at all.
00:34In fact, they are spreading to other areas, different areas in Los Angeles.
00:38The daily gatherings are still also drawing a sizable crowd in those protests, even though they are more peaceful.
00:48And some people are starting to see that they are maturing somehow.
00:53They are these protests are maturing because they are drawing more crowds as well as also community leaders, legal observers and city officials as well.
01:06Like we see like we saw with the governor and also the mayor of Los Angeles.
01:11It is they are spreading to other states as well, like Florida, Massachusetts and also Texas.
01:21But they seem to be more peaceful as they do, you know, slowly happen around the country.
01:28We can't we can't actually discern whether they will most probably they will not force President Trump to back down on his administration's immigration policies.
