Similarly, the priest and Levite prioritized temple duties over helping a victim, but the Samaritan showed compassion, cared for the wounded man, and promised to return to settle his bills. This mirrors Jesus Christ's mission: to redeem, care for, and ultimately return for His people. He is the ultimate neighbor who is closer than a brother, yet He is God.
