00:00Thank you, Leader.
00:02You know, when we talk about the images that are happening in Los Angeles right now,
00:05what is your argument to the American people that the National Guard is not needed in this situation?
00:13There are thousands of members of the LAPD and the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department
00:21and the California Highway Patrol, who have the capacity, by all accounts,
00:31according to Governor Newsom and Mayor Bass, to make sure that the lawlessness and disorder
00:42that the Trump administration is clearly trying to bring about
00:46by fanning flames and inciting things on the ground in California
00:58that the state and local officials and these brave, courageous members of law enforcement,
01:07thousands of them who are part of the LAPD, the L.A. Sheriff's Department,
01:14other local law enforcement, and the California Highway Patrol
01:19seem to have the capacity to make sure that the situation is addressed,
01:27that peaceful protests are allowed to occur,
01:31and that lawbreakers are held accountable.
01:38The Trump administration has zero credibility on this issue.
01:42Really?
01:44I was here on January 6th.
01:48Donald Trump wasn't a leader on January 6th.
01:51He didn't send a National Guard to stop the violent mob
01:57that was brutally beating police officers in plain view
02:01for every single American to see.
02:04And this guy, who likely withheld the National Guard,
02:10he certainly didn't send them forward, is lecturing the country about law and order,
02:16and if this wasn't enough of a reason to dismiss his credibility on any of these issues,
02:25on his first day in office, Donald Trump pardons hundreds of violent felons,
02:32some of whom have gone back to their communities all across America and recommitted crimes against everyday Americans,
02:42give me a break.
02:45We're not feeling you, particularly as it relates to this issue.
02:52Donald Trump and all of these minions who support him,
02:57the sycophants, the extremists, have zero credibility on this issue.
03:04Republicans have become the party of lawlessness and disorder.
