00:00Toronto has won 10 of its last 12 games entering today's matchup against St. Louis.
00:06So under the arch, another pick-em price, minus 108, that updated Moneyline number on both sides.
00:13On the FanDuel Sportsbook, Chris Bassett gets the nod for the Jays.
00:17Myles Michaelis on the other side for St. Louis.
00:20Eight and a half is the total.
00:22What do you like today under the arch?
00:24I'm liking the way this Toronto lineup projects itself.
00:27Now, yesterday, a three and a half total, which was about like a minus 140 price point.
00:30They ended up getting that there.
00:31Needed a home run, I believe, in the ninth inning just to get it to extras here to get that fourth run.
00:35But ended up taking that down.
00:36Kirk had a decent game with a home run and a couple of base knocks here.
00:4078-degree temperatures.
00:41Love to see that.
00:42Light wind blowing out to right field.
00:43That's all great.
00:44Myles Michaelis, not a great pitcher.
00:46If we take a look at him, even over the last 30 days, Ben, 27 and a third innings pitched here at 296 ERA,
00:51which isn't bad, but the 4.35 X fifth number.
00:54He doesn't strike out batters that usually lends to self to get yourself in trouble.
00:58If we look at the lineup today, only two players in that lineup once again presenting themselves for the Blue Jays as high strikeout guys,
01:05which means you have seven quality batters.
01:06And of those seven, the first six in the lineup, 321, 334, 404, 357, 367, and 386 are the weighted on base percentages here
01:16for the Toronto Blue Jays going up against right into pitching over the past month.
01:19So I do give a slight lean to that.
01:20If we're looking at Chris Bassett, his ERA is a little bit high at 3.90 over the past month through 27 and two-thirds innings pitched.
01:27357 X fifth number, so not too bad.
01:30So when we're looking at the lineups, I like the Toronto lineup better, and particularly the pitching a little bit better from Toronto's side.
01:36Some guys that you might want to look at from a Cardinals perspective, though, right-handers have gotten the best of Bassett over the past month.
01:42So maybe you take a look at maybe a Wilson Contreras in that lineup or a Nolan Arenado.
01:46So even though they don't have very good statistics against right-handed pitching over the past month, maybe a chance for an RBI.
01:51But for me, I'm actually looking at Toronto here.
01:53I think there's a better team, better pitcher, and better lineup to get the victory today.
