01:35Next, it's time to choose one of three Crisis Kits

01:38for your Firebreaker to take into the field.

01:40The Splash Kit, which is good for extinguishing fires

01:43and removing harmful conditions from your friends.

01:45The Jump Kit, which focuses on mobility

01:48and charging electrical devices.

01:50And the Fix Kit, which excels at knocking back enemies

01:54and repairing machinery.

01:56Each of these kits is a saved loadout

01:59featuring a defined set of specialized gear

02:01and whatever gun, grenade, and set of perks

02:04you think suits its playstyle best.

02:09Once you've selected your kit, you and your crew will arrive

02:12by service elevator to the job site,

02:14where you will be tasked with clearing a number of crisis zones

02:17depending on the clearance you selected.

02:19To clear zones, you'll work on its unique objectives

02:23and use your tool to efficiently repair broken machines,

02:25like the shower, which is key to healing the team

02:28and removing harmful conditions.

02:30Or to charge batteries, like the one that lights up the ammo station,

02:34letting your team resupply faster.

02:36Or to douse the flames that buff your enemies

02:39and sometimes light your friends on fire.

02:41Now, if you don't have the right tool, you can still do the job,

02:45but it will be slower and definitely more dangerous.

02:48Once you've completed all of the zone's objectives,

02:51you'll be able to open a containment door

02:53and proceed deeper into the crisis.

03:00As you put down the crisis, more and more hiss will be attracted to the area,

03:04sometimes including dangerous enemies that trigger job site lockdowns until exterminated.

03:10During combat, it is especially important for you and your friends to group up

03:14as your resonance shields will become amplified while you're sticking together.

03:18And if any of you have upgraded perks equipped,

03:21you'll be able to share their effects using that same system.

03:25Upgradable guns and grenades are your best options for pure damage,

03:28but your tools add a lot of utility to a fight,

03:31allowing you to stun, knock back, or escape the hiss when things get intense,

03:36as they often do.

03:37Each kit comes with its own altered augment, an extremely dangerous paranatural item

03:49that charges up over time, allowing you to deploy massive amounts of combat power during critical moments.

03:55Just keep in mind that augments are extremely volatile and can down you and your friends if used haphazardly.

04:01When playing a job with corruption turned on, you'll soon discover that not all altered items are under Firebreak's control.

04:09Firebreak will encounter various corrupted items during these jobs,

04:13which significantly modify the experience while active.

04:16Anything from causing corpses to explode, to lowering the gravity,

04:21to making sure that you don't cross the street when you're not supposed to.

04:25Corrupted items aren't affected by bullets or explosions, but you can chase them away if you find a Blackrock Neutralizer.

04:38When the final objective is completed, you'll trigger evacuation.

04:42A large number of hiss will descend onto the job site,

04:45and you and your crew will need to make it back to the service elevator in one piece.

04:49Getting out alive is no easy task, and sometimes you'll face difficult decisions,

04:55like when to rescue crewmates in trouble, and when to cut your losses.

05:00Back at Firebreak HQ, you'll have the chance to put whatever you collected to good use,

05:05unlocking or upgrading equipment and perks, or picking up new cosmetics to customize your Firebreaker.

05:11Of course, there are worlds more to discover inside the oldest house,

05:16when you and your friends play for yourselves.
