Israeli navy attacks Yemen's Houthi-held Hodeida port in first direct strikes from sea

This is the first time that Israel has conducted direct attacks against the Iran-aligned Houthi rebels through its naval forces rather than with airstrikes.

00:00The Israeli Navy says it has attacked docks in Yemen's rebel-held port city of Hodeidah,
00:08marking the first time its naval forces have conducted strikes against the Houthis.
00:13Late on Monday, Israel issued online warnings to Yemenis to evacuate from the Ras Isa, Hodeidah and Al-Salif ports.
00:20It accused the Houthis of using the seaports to conduct attacks.
00:24Hodeidah is also the main entry point for food and other humanitarian aid
00:29for millions of war-stricken Yemenis since the Houthis seized Yemen's capital in 2014.
00:36Since the start of the war in Gaza, the Houthis have repeatedly attacked Israel,
00:40as well as commercial ships in the Red Sea.
00:43Most strikes on Israel have not hit their targets or were intercepted.
00:47Writing on social media, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz threatened the Houthis
00:52with a naval and air blockade if attacks on Israel continue.
