00:00Brom Breaker has his marching orders from Seth Rollins, absolute battle, that is what we are looking for.
00:08Seth Rollins got a massive slice of that with a money in the bank briefcase and winning this tournament would certainly help Brom Breaker's crew in the process.
00:16Well Rollins made it clear that both recognized world titles are going to be the victim of an all-out assault by Rollins and company, whether it be by victory or heist.
00:28You can figure out the details later, the key right now for Breaker and crew is to control all of the chess pieces, keep your options open, win this tournament, get the rights to that championship match as and when you feel like it and hopefully Seth Rollins for his piece cashes in successfully too.
00:47Now this is a good strategy, the three men, Penta, Dominik and Sami Zayn seem to be directing, yes they are, directing their hostilities toward Braun Breaker and this is Wise here to try to take on the man who's been dominating the match.
00:59We saw it earlier, oh Dominik from behind, sneaky Dominik Mysterio almost steals one.
01:05Well sneaky is what you have to be here, we saw it earlier with Rhea Ripley, everyone took her down and then the sneaky Roxanne Perez, perhaps charging Dominik, charging dirty Dom up with chicken tendies before this match.
01:17So I wonder what Liv Morgan thinks about Roxanne already rubbing off on Dom, Penta to the chest of Mysterio.
01:24That's like caving in a bird's chest, cover, hook to the leg now and a kick out at two.
01:30Dirty Dom clinging on to this matchup at this point, all the momentum now in the favor of the luchador Penta who took massive amounts of abuse just two days ago in the money in the bank match.
01:41Sami looked like he was going for the blue thunder bomb and Penta able to block.
01:45I'll tell you right now, we've seen very little of Sami Zayn so far in this match, that might be about to change.
01:50Yeah, but let's not forget Sami's the one who turned this match around when he took out Breaker, Tornado DDT, cover, Dominik saving the matchup.
01:58Yeah, and Sami Zayn also has those bedroom, Wiles knows not to burn himself out too easy in a matchup like this, save some energy for those latter stages, stay alert and make sure you can hit that fifth gear at the right time.
02:11And again, Dominik Mysterio, Braun Breaker, along with Penta, were part of that fatal four-way matchup at WrestleMania, where Dominik would swoop in and steal the victory, pending his Judgment Day buddy Finn Balor to take the title from Braun Breaker.
02:26And Breaker now, look at the power! I mean, talk about wrestling! Sami Zayn down on the mat!
02:30Another pounded ground from Braun Breaker, who's ticked off now!
02:34And technique power, and a mean streak a mile wide. Now with the guidance of Paul Heyman, how can you possibly fail?
02:42You guys actually like this bubble!
02:45Woo!
02:46And again, Breaker talking trash.
02:49Talk all the trash you want when you get so much power and leverage over your opponent like Braun has over Sami Zayn right now.
02:57Who you are!
02:58Body shot by Breaker.
03:02Breaker, a former two-time Intercontinental Champion, two-time NXT Champion.
03:07Again, we've said it before, man, what a steal for Seth Rollins to get his claws hooked into Braun Breaker and bring him aboard.
03:16Top pick right there!
03:19Thunder cloud that cannot be tracked!
03:21And hits like a sledgehammer!
03:24Sami Zayn slapping now four-hands, having very little effect on Breaker.
03:28As the unpredictable badass is taking it to Sami Zayn here.
03:32Add granite jaw to all his other attributes that seem to grow week by week.
03:37Oh, Breaker up over the top, Lance on the floor.
03:39Just move smart, move quickly when you're around Braun Breaker.
03:44It might be the only advantage you can find over it.
03:46Sami Zayn, top rope, Moonsault.
03:48Breaker's taken down.
03:50With Breaker down, perhaps somebody needs to start making things happen in the ring.
03:55And it may be Penta.
03:56The high-flying Luchador takes out Sami Zayn.
04:00Three bodies down at ringside.
04:02Dominic, suicide dive, and turns it into a DDT on Penta.
04:07Tremendous by Dominic.
04:08Dominic may want to turn around and stop flexing.
04:11Oh my goodness, he may break Dominic in half!
04:14Blippi from the apron about Kalaxi, Dominic here.
04:20Breaker, Dominic, Sami Penta, everybody's down in the king of the ring.
04:30Braun Breaker's got Sami Zayn in trouble in the corner.
04:33Dominic Mysterio trying to come to at ringside.
04:36Penta trying to come to as well.
04:38Fatal four-way match to determine who will get to the semifinals of the king of the ring tournament.
04:42Trading with Braun Breaker rarely works.
04:45Somehow Sami Zayn came off the batter.
04:48But of course, immediately there to pounce Dirty Dom.
04:51And Impenta as well.
04:53Impenta now with Dirty Dom up top.
04:56Running Powerbomb.
04:59Breaker now up to the top.
05:01McAbee will call this to Breaker Steiner.
05:06What cannot Braun Breaker do?
05:08He can do everything.
05:10Moves like a cruiserweight.
05:14Hits like a breeze block.
05:19I'm just looking at the skin of Braun Breaker.
05:22He hasn't even broken sweat here.
05:24J.P.O.
05:25J.P.O.
05:27J.P.O.
05:28J.P.O.
05:29J.P.O.
05:30Paul Heyman barking orders to the Breaker.
05:35Remember, first man again.
05:36Pintmuller submission wins.
05:37Already tonight in the Queen of the Ring side of things, Roxanne Perez advance to the semi-finals.
05:46King of the Ring will be crowned in Riyadh and Knight of Champions in two weeks from Saturday.
05:52And now Pintmuller with the forearms to Braun Breaker.
05:55And Breaker with a knee.
05:57What a knee by Breaker.
05:58The explosiveness of Braun Breaker.
06:01Penta caught him though with a kick.
06:06Uh-oh.
06:08That easy for Braun Breaker.
06:09Oh, and it turned it into a DDT.
06:12Great counter by Penta.
06:13Nothing's easy with Penta, but that's a pounce.
06:15He starts, he does.
06:16Dominic trying to steal one.
06:18Breaker kicks out at two.
06:19How eerily similar was that to Roxanne Perez a little earlier, just waiting two pounds.
06:28Didn't quite pay off this time.
06:30Man, what a feather in the cap of the Intercontinental Champion if he had Pint Breaker there.
06:33Now Sami Zayn from behind.
06:36Going to the Blue Thunderbomb.
06:37Dominic able to counter at least momentarily.
06:39It was blocked by Dirty Dom.
06:42And again, a block by Dom.
06:43Give him some flowers, Michael Cole.
06:44And now, went for a third time.
06:46Dominic with yet another counter.
06:48And now turns it into the first of perhaps three amigos.
06:53Penta bombs to the late, great Eddie Guerrero.
06:57Got a finished drop here, Dom.
06:59Got a finished drop.
07:00Two of the best amigos ever.
07:02We want three.
07:03No.
07:03Blue Thunderbomb by Zayn.
07:06One, two, three.
07:08Oh, and Dominic at two.
07:14What action here tonight in the first round of the King of the Ring Tournament.
07:22Sami Zayn so close here.
07:25Not quite enough.
07:27We're sold out tonight in Phoenix, the PHX Arena.
07:3214,361.
07:35WWE fans.
07:36One of these men's advancing to the King of the Ring.
07:39Sami going for the hallouma kick.
07:41Intercepted by Penta.
07:42Sami Zayn, who dislocated that shoulder in his raw debut.
07:54And now, Penta driver.
07:56Penta driver.
07:57For the win.
07:58Dominic looking to steal one.
08:00Shoulders not down.
08:02Great position there by our official Eddie Arengo.
08:06Over-rotation by Dirty Dom.
08:08But that, perhaps, was the victory Dom was waiting for.
08:14Penta with a kick with a hamstring.
08:15And now, Penta face first off the swing blade.
08:18And Penta about to wow him.
08:24Mexican destroyer.
08:26Dom's down.
08:27Penta.
08:28Into the cover.
08:31Hooks the inside leg.
08:33Shoulders down.
08:34Front.
08:34Breaker.
08:36Getting to Penta as Dominic kicked out, I believe.
08:39I mean, it's astounding that Dirty Dom wriggled his way out of that one.
08:44Breaker was right there.
08:46Even an action replay to see if he actually broke the pinup.
08:50But who cares right now?
08:51Because back on the tear is Braun Breaker.
08:54Yeah, at this point, it doesn't matter.
08:57Breaker is in control.
08:58He dumps Penta outside the ring.
09:00And straps down, down.
09:01And Braun Breaker's all business.
09:03Imagine fighting 20 minutes.
09:05And you see Braun Breaker starting to get warmed up like he is now.
09:09Penta turn around.
09:11Penta better turn around.
09:12Got a speed check coming our way.
09:14Braun Breaker.
09:15Well, I smell.
09:1823 miles.
09:22Hey.
09:24Front flush.
09:25Trauma.
09:26LA Knight is here.
09:28LA Knight takes out Breaker.
09:30LA Knight was Breaker's victim on SmackDown.
09:32Adam Money in the back.
09:33And now Sammy.
09:35With the Explorer suplex.
09:37Payback to Braun Breaker there.
09:39Dane into the corner.
09:40Halluva kick.
09:45Cover.
09:45One, two, three.
09:47Sammy's in the semifinals of the King of the Ring.
09:51Here is your winner, Sammy Zay.
09:56Well, LA Knight was taken out on Friday on SmackDown by Seth and Company.
10:02Top of the wraps again at Money in the Bank.
10:04And tonight, a little bit of payback from LA Knight.
10:08Yeah.
10:09And no one can thank him more than Sammy Zay.
10:13Clearly have no clue what was going on on the outside.
10:16First, the spear takes out Penta.
10:18Oh, so devastating.
10:20Penta is done there.
10:21Don't celebrate too soon.
10:23Mistake by Braun Breaker.
10:25And out of nowhere comes LA Knight.
10:27And of course, the veteran, Sammy Zay with that Halluva kick.
10:32Tight hook of the leg.
10:34And now, our first man progressing in the King of the Ring tournament to the semifinals.
10:40Paul Heyman is beside himself after the attack by LA Knight.
10:45Cost Braun Breaker.
10:46So the story now is Sammy Zay who advances to the semifinals in the King of the Ring tournament
10:53for the second time in his career.
11:07I am here with AJ Styles.
11:09And AJ, congratulations on that victory earlier.
11:12Massive win for you over Chad Gable.
11:14I can tell you're still fired up.
11:15So talk to me.
11:16Tell me where you're at.
11:17Here's the thing.
11:18I can't enjoy tonight because I can't stop thinking about what happened last week.
11:22Chad Gable, whether or not he has on a mask, is one of the best in the business.
11:28But last week, Seth Rollins had his lackey, Paul Heyman, come and threaten me.
11:34And we know Dirty Dom and the judge, they're still running their mouth.
11:39Listen, I don't care how they conduct their business.
11:44But if you're going to disrespect AJ Styles, I'm going to punch you in the mouth.
11:47If you don't believe me, go ask Gable.
11:53Ah, on second thought, I think I'll go tell him myself.
11:59Thanks so much.
12:01You know, I was going to send it back to the arena, but I think there's a developing story
12:05over here, so follow me.
12:07He's holding me back, and I'm finally...
12:10Excuse me, guys.
12:12Hey, follow some good veterans around here.
12:14Yeah, there you go.
12:15You got you, man, every time.
12:16Here's Kathy with the good questions.
12:19I was going to ask you when you plan on defending your titles next and who against.
12:23Well, hold on, Kathy.
12:24We just successfully defended these titles two weeks ago.
12:27And there are a lot of incredible teams here on Raw.
12:30But in our opinion, they're all in the middle of the pack.
12:33We're looking for that clear frontrunner, that number one contender.
12:36We have way too much respect for these titles to defend them against just anybody, Kathy.
12:40Because y'all keep them in the driveway, we keep them in the garage.
12:44You see, we care about these titles, unlike the champions before us and the champions before
12:49that.
12:49He could go on all day.
12:50Matter of fact, you and everybody here should be thankful that you have champions like us
12:56that actually elevate these titles to such a high pedestal.
12:58So instead of asking us these asinine questions every week, Kathy, how about you?
13:05Everybody in this arena and everybody all over the world, get down on your knees and thank
13:12God for the new day.
13:17The better question is, why do you keep deflecting them?
13:22No more questions, Kathy.
13:24No more questions.
13:28That was a great question, Kathy.
13:30Nonetheless, the Hall of Famer is here.
13:33Nikki Bella is back live on Netflix.
13:37April 19th, where you can register for the pre-sale information.
13:45WrestleMania is headed back to Vegas.

14:02And you can't stop this as a sneak peek of Alex Warren's debut album, You'll Be Alright, Kid,
14:08out July 18th.
14:11Ladies and gentlemen, we look ahead to next week on Monday Night Raw.
14:14Live in Green Bay, Wisconsin, we'll have some more first-round matchups in the King and
14:18Queen of the Ring tournament and the return of a former multi-time women's champion.
14:32The Empress of Tomorrow.
14:37No one is ready for...
14:41Asuka!
14:43What the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble match?
14:48Miss Money in the Bank!
14:49Former Raw Women's Champion, Women's Tag Team Champion, SmackDown Women's Champion.
14:55One of the most feared women in the business.
15:00Awe-inspiring, hypnotic, and dangerous as the day is long.
15:05You're not gonna find a smile on the planet Earth as terrifying as that one.
15:16Asuka may be the single most lethal woman in WWE these days.
15:20Ladies and gentlemen, next week on Monday Night Raw, live from Green Bay, Wisconsin, first-round
15:31action continues with fatal four-way matchups.
15:34Asuka returns to the ring for the first time in over a year as she's in a fatal four-way
15:39to the Queen of the Ring tournament.
15:41Also, on the men's side of things, another first-round fatal four-way.
15:45Sheamus Rusev and Big Bronson Reed.
15:48Who will be the fourth member?
15:49That's up to General Manager, Adam Pearce.
15:51He has a week to figure that out.
15:53Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome WWE Hall of Favor.
15:59Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, WWE Hall of Famer, Nikki Bella!
16:24From right here in Arizona, Nikki Bella, former two-time Divas Champion, once held that title for over 300 days, which is a record for that championship. Nikki returning to Monday Night Raw here live tonight.
16:41Man, have I missed this music. Man, have I missed this woman. Bella Army, we are eating good tonight. Welcome back, Nikki Bella.
16:54But you can't touch. You can't feel it.
16:58I see you dancing, Michael Cole.
17:00I can see that you want me so much.
17:04Phoenix!
17:08My gosh, it is so good for one, to be back home.
17:14Yes.
17:15To be back in this ring. Oh my goodness. I just want to say thank you to the WWE Universe. Thank you to my Bella Army.
17:24I missed you guys. I missed you. I missed you all a lot. I know. Thank you.
17:36So, thank you.
17:39So, I'm here to talk about something very, very special that's happening next month.
17:44I think you all know what I'm about to talk about, right?
17:46That's right. That's right. So, it's been many years, but next month, WWE is holding an all-women premium live event in Atlanta, WWE Evolution!
18:02Yes!
18:03Now, I remember Mena Venni in the very first one, and it has been so incredible to see where the women's division is at since then.
18:13I mean, the talent, the stars, you have Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Io Sky.
18:18And let's talk about these newcomers, Roxanne Perez, Stephanie Vacuay, right? Julia.
18:28I mean, there is so much talent in that female locker room. It is insane.
18:34And I know that I could speak on behalf of all the women of the past, but we couldn't be prouder.
18:40We couldn't be more grateful where the women are at now in this division. Just so proud.
18:48Whoa, whoa, whoa! Cut my music! Cut my music!
18:53Nikki, if you're talking about the best women in this division, you better make sure you mention Liv Morgan!
19:01First of all, Liv, I didn't mean to. That was not intentional.
19:05Oh, you didn't mean it like that. Well, too late, because I am the most talented woman in this division!
19:11And I am proving it again and again and again!
19:15I was women's world champion all of last year.
19:18I am the first and only women's crown jewel champion, and I am breaking records as a women's tag team champion!
19:29But you know what, Nikki?
19:31You're lucky.
19:33You're lucky I wasn't around during your career, because I would have been champion and beaten you then, too.
19:39But you know what, as I'm talking, I realize, I realize why you didn't mention me.
19:47You didn't mention me because you're jealous of me.
19:52You're jealous of me because I have everything that you don't.
20:00I have respect, I have a championship, and I have a man!
20:11You know what, Liv?
20:24Hey, hey, you know, I get it, I get it.
20:25You lost tonight, you're angry, I don't blame you.
20:29Okay, it's a bad night for you, right?
20:31But you know, speaking of your man, I'm just trying to figure out who he belongs to.
20:35Is it, uh, is it you or Roxanne Perez?
20:50I'm confused.
20:54But you know what, Liv?
20:55Uh, if you could do me a favor, can you congratulate her for me for taking your title shot and your man?
21:05You know what, Nikki?
21:09You could say whatever you want, because I'm still a champion.
21:13And all you'll ever be is a reality show diva.
21:18Well, Nikki heard it up and left, though, hits her in the oblivion.
21:26I don't care anymore, Nikki, this is my division.
21:35It's called an unwelcome back from Lynn Morgan.
21:40Well, what I call it is uncalled for.
21:45It lives under a lot of pressure and stress, obviously, with everything that she's got going on,
21:49but that is no way to interrupt and treat a Hall of Famer in Nikki Bella.
21:53Well, the ring is a dangerous place.
21:56You come back to WWE, you can't just get a round of applause, expect some action, Nikki Bella.
22:01Well, ladies and gentlemen, we kicked off the night tonight with CM Punk interrupting John Cena's retirement tour.
22:10By my count, after tonight, you've got 18 dates left.
22:14Of what little respect I had for you, I'll leave it up to you as to which one of those dates I take this off your shoulder.
22:23Match like this, you're going to follow me to Saudi Arabia.
22:29And we're going to do it at Night of Champions.
22:38Ball's in your court, hero.
22:40You want a title match, it's going to be at Night of Champions.
22:45What do you say?
22:50Our general manager, Adam Pearce, has made it official.
22:53It'll take place two weeks from Saturday, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at Night of Champions.
22:58The renewal of a rivalry.
23:00These two last met 13 years ago.
23:03John Cena, CM Punk, Night of Champions for the disputed WWE Championship.
23:13Well, speaking of championships,
23:15the World Heavyweight Championship is on the line next in our main event here tonight on Monday Night Raw.
23:23A lot has been made about the shape that our champion main event, Jey Uso, is going to be in here tonight.
23:28Gunther claims Jey Uso is spreading himself thin.
23:31That could be the case, Wade.
23:33Last week on Monday Night Raw, he got involved and, well, he paid for it by Seth and company.
23:38Yeah, it's about the, exactly what you would expect messing with the power trio of Seth,
23:44Bronson Reed and Braun Break, a massive tsunami.
23:47No one's ribs feel good after that, but followed it up at SmackDown,
23:53getting sucker punched by Logan Paul, and then AA'd by John Cena.
23:59This was just three days ago, last Friday, and a massive frog splash to boot,
24:04and then 24 hours after this, at Money in the Bank, this devastated movesault,
24:11through our announce test from Logan Paul, pretty much the worst prep week possible,
24:17ahead of tonight's showdown with Gunther for the World Heavyweight Champion.
24:21Yeah, but that's just the past seven days, Wade.
24:24Jey Uso's been going non-stop since he beat this man back in April at WrestleMania.
24:30Welcome to being World Heavyweight Champion, Jey.
24:33Something this man knows a thing or two about.
24:39For the ring general, Gunther, an opportunity to write what he believes is a Raw.
24:46He lost to Uso at WrestleMania.
24:48Gunther tonight, hoping to regain his World Heavyweight title.
24:52For our main event, the 21st time this city has hosted Monday Night Raw,
25:03and tonight the World Heavyweight Championship is on the line.
25:08Main event, Jey Uso defending the title against the man that he beat at WrestleMania,
25:12the ring general, Gunther.
25:15He was the world champ for 259 days, the intercontinental champion for 666 days,
25:21the NXT UK champion for 370 days.
25:26All this man knows how to do is win.
25:51Jey Uso with his son, supporting him here tonight.
26:09Moments ago, Wade, you probably gave me the best advice of my career.
26:13I gave you a lot of good advice, but yeah, that was particularly good.
26:17And Wade warned me, perhaps I should not eat with the world champion tonight,
26:23because of the man who's in the ring, Gunther, and I'm going to heed that advice tonight.
26:28Just let the audience do it for you, let them take all of the risk, and this kind of
26:33buy-in from an audience is something you cannot manufacture.
26:36They love this man, they believe in this man, and they are going to power this man to victory,
26:45with everything in their souls tonight.
26:48Will it be successful?
26:50Will it be enough?
26:53To overcome the surely broken body of the champ.
26:57Will it be enough, Michael Cole, you can see it twitching.
27:15Meanwhile, the challenger, Gunther, seems extremely unfazed in the ring,
27:20as Jey Uso makes his way to ringside.
27:27I'll tell you, the quiet sting of failure lingers longer than any punch or kick when it comes
27:33to the ring general.
27:35And he gets a chance to finally rid his body of that sting, right now.
27:44Come on champ, do it tonight.
27:45Jey Uso cannot be anywhere near a hundred percent.
27:53I saw Jey earlier today, smile on his face, said he was ready to go, said he's not going
27:59to let anything get in the way of him holding on to this World Heavyweight Championship tonight.
28:04But, Wade, we showed just a small sample of what Jey Uso and the punishment he's taken
28:09over the past couple of weeks here at WWE.
28:12There's no way Jey is 100% tonight.
28:15I agree with you completely.
28:16Over that run from winning the Royal Rumble all the way to WrestleMania,
28:20Jey Uso had to develop an unbreakable spirit.
28:25He still has that.
28:26What you cannot develop is an unbreakable body.
28:30And I think half the job is already done for Gunther here.
28:34That's the problem for Jey Uso tonight.
28:36You mentioned Gunther's relatively fresh.
28:38He's only had one match since WrestleMania.
28:40That's the battle against Pat McAfee.
28:43Back at Backlash in May.
28:46The road to redemption since WrestleMania 41 has certainly not been straight for the Gunther,
28:52but it has been relentless.
28:55And it's all been about tonight.
28:57Had that detour with McAfee.
28:59But now, no more business is intended to resume here on Raw.
29:04Again, I love it.
29:06I love the enthusiasm.
29:08I love the playing with the WWE fans here tonight.
29:11But the bottom line is this, as all this is going on, Gunther, the killer,
29:16the former champ, hasn't taken his eyes off Jey Uso.
29:23Let's head up to the ring and our ring announcer, the great Alicia Taylor.
29:28The following contest scheduled for one call is for the World Heavyweight Championship.
29:44The winner of the World Heavyweight Championship.
29:49Introducing first, the challenger from Vienna, Austria, weighing in at 250 pounds,
30:02the ring general, Gunther, and his opponent from San Francisco, California, weighing in at 242 pounds.
30:32He is the World Heavyweight Champion, main event, Jey Uso.
30:49This is the fifth time that Jey Uso and Gunther have gone one-on-one.
30:55Gunther owns an edge of three to one.
30:58He's also eliminated Jey Uso back in the Royal Rumble in 2024.
31:04At WrestleMania, Jey Uso tapped out Gunther to win his first ever World Championship.
31:12It was the first time in almost four years since Gunther submitted in a matchup.
31:18Tonight, Gunther Uso for the world title.
31:22The rematch the world has been salivating for.
31:26Well, it's all ours tonight.
31:31And Uso and Gunther staring across the ring at one another.
31:36You're the champion, Wade, Jey Uso.
31:38How do you pull off many would consider a miracle again tonight?
31:43Well, you've done it once before.
31:45You did it at WrestleMania.
31:46You know you are capable of it.
31:49But does lightning really strike twice?
31:52I'm not so sure.
31:54And this is an even more motivated Gunther than he has been previously.
31:59Yeah, but Jey Uso going for the sleeper.
32:02The choke that he got Gunther to tap out at WrestleMania.
32:06Yeah, and that's a big piece of the embarrassment for Gunther.
32:09He was outclassed at WrestleMania by Jey Uso.
32:12Beat him with his own move.
32:14And tonight, it's Jey Uso with the advantage.
32:16The champion's advantage.
32:18Again, sleeper locked in.
32:19And Gunther has to swing him away.
32:20Well, that perhaps was the best shot for Jey Uso.
32:23Trying to end this as quickly as possible.
32:25Gunther has to regroup.
32:27Well, during moments ago, Jey Uso was dominating this matchup.
32:38But Gunther tried to turn it around quickly.
32:39Jey though, able to send it back to the center of the ring.
32:42And now the champion.
32:43Top rope.
32:43Jey Uso.
32:44Cross body.
32:46Here's the cover.
32:47Hook of the leg and a kick out.
32:49And you see Jey Uso favoring his midsection as he delivered that cross body weight.
32:55And again, there's been a lot of rumors flying around.
32:59And we talked about this Saturday.
33:02Internal injuries.
33:03Rib injuries.
33:04Perhaps to Jey Uso from the tsunamis last week.
33:07From the Asei moonsault this past Saturday.
33:09Do you see the smile on Gunther's face?
33:11He realizes that there is a problem now with Uso.
33:14And can he take advantage?
33:15I just ate your best shot, Jey.
33:18And it hurt you more than it hurt me.
33:21And now Gunther realizing that he is an injured champion here.
33:25And the big grin across the face of the ring general.
33:27Who is now targeting the ribs of Uso.
33:29Who has doubled over in pain.
33:32Well Gunther has just gone from sluggish to savage in the blink of an eye.
33:38I mean, Jey Uso was actually dominating the start of this matchup.
33:42Had Gunther all in a source.
33:43And there it is.
33:44You see the heavily taped midsection of Jey Uso.
33:48We talked about the tsunami.
33:49We talked about the Asei moonsault.
33:51Obviously some serious injury issues for Jey Uso here.
33:54And Gunther now.
33:56Like a shark to blood attacking the champion.
33:59Well, the way this is going right now.
34:00The only thing Jey Uso is going to have around his waist when he leaves is that bandage.
34:06Certainly not the World Heavyweight Championship.
34:09Gunther looked like he has been presented a gift.
34:12A massive gift.
34:15And now stomping away again at the midsection of Uso.
34:20Just an injection of belief for the ring general.
34:24Whatever fragility that was in his ego has gone away now.
34:28It's galvanized.
34:29Well Gunther had made a point over the past couple of weeks in a suplex again.
34:35Gunther had made a point the past few weeks that Jey Uso was wearing himself thin.
34:40I'll tell you right now.
34:41My opinion was Michael that Jey Uso should absolutely have declined the tag match at Money in the Bank.
34:50Sorry Cody, you're on your own.
34:51Yeah, but that's not what Jey Uso is all about.
34:53I've got to put the title first.
34:54Well, that's fine not being about that.
34:56I would be about retaining my championship above and beyond anything else.
35:00And now ripping that protective tape away from the midsection of Jey Uso.
35:04Extremely vulnerable now in this match.
35:07And things have become very dire for the world champion as Gunther delivers a knee right to the ribs.
35:13Epic start from Jey Uso has now turned in to a battle for survival.
35:20And it's what Jey is losing dismally.
35:23This all began when Jey Uso hit a cross body on Gunther injuring his midsection.
35:30Gunther realized that it was hurt and now he has begun the attack.
35:34Yeah, Jey should have avoided that particular move like the plague.
35:39But it's instinct, it's adrenaline, it's staring across at Gunther and thinking,
35:43I better move quick or he's going to hit me.
35:45And Jey hit a move he should never have pulled out with those damaged ribs.
35:51WWE fans here in Phoenix tonight trying to rally the champion.
35:55Jey sent across the ring.
35:58Into the turnbuckle.
35:59Again, doubling over in pain.
36:01Gunther though, Uso able to sidestep.
36:03Jey looking to rally, looking for the sleeper.
36:05He knows he's got in this quick.
36:07Uso trying to end it the way that he won at WrestleMania.
36:11But Gunther makes it to the ropes.
36:13Jey Uso though, nice German suplex by Jey.
36:15Oh, it's straight back to the ribs of Jey Uso.
36:18That sleeper is about the best move he's got.
36:21Very little rib impact when you're applying a sleeper.
36:24But a German suplex, a splash.
36:27The amount of torque on your midsection.
36:29Well, if he delivers a spear, that's going to jar him as well.
36:32And that's what Jey's trying to do here.
36:33Gunther though, catches the best sleeper in his own.
36:35Yeah, catches him in the sleeper because Jey just wasn't quick enough.
36:38He hasn't got the power to accelerate.
36:40That's Pat McAfee about that sleeper by Gunther.
36:43Jey Uso went for the suicide dive.
36:45And Gunther caught him with the right hand as Jey just collapses out to the apron.
36:49Well, maybe Gunther would have got him anyway.
36:51But I'm telling you, Jey Uso's speed is just a little bit off.
36:56He's got some power left in him.
36:57Yeah, Gunther now head first into the steel post and Gunther.
37:01Oh, and a German suplex outside the ring on the floor.
37:03Yeah, a release German onto that lower back too.
37:07It's all in the favor of Gunther now.
37:09And we're World Heavyweight Championship.
37:15Gunther and Uso.
37:17Gunther dominating.
37:19Uso with injured ribs looking to somehow rally in this match.
37:23Blocked there.
37:26Jey really is clinging on here.
37:27I'm astounded he even got Gunther halfway up.
37:30There's a massive frame.
37:31And look at Jey Uso, almost had him.
37:33Gunther though, back lands on his knee.
37:36A third time for Jey Uso.
37:38He's got Gunther in a vertical suplex.
37:41Jey with the landing.
37:43Hurting his own ribs in the process again.
37:46You're so limited in the offense you can throw without hurting those ribs.
37:50And when instinct kicks in, and of course against Gunther,
37:54you don't get many options anyway.
37:55You have to take what's there.
37:57But it's backfired again for Jey Uso.
38:00In a problem Wade is a slow pace helps Gunther, the ring general.
38:04Jey has to pick up the pace.
38:05But Kenny with the injured ribs.
38:07And the longer it goes on, the more the swelling grows in those ribs.
38:12The more painful it gets, the more your body seizes up.
38:17The more you need these people, eating you to victory.
38:22And now exchanging blows center of the ring.
38:24Champion Uso, challenger Gunther.
38:27And now Jey Uso starting to get the upper hand, right hand.
38:31As he's turning around in a hurry.
38:33And Uso caught on it, on the shoulder dropping Gunther to the mat.
38:37Jey's not just surviving now, he's learning, he's adapting.
38:42He's growing into this fight, just when he really needed it.
38:45But no, nobody home as Gunther was able to duck out of harm's way.
38:50And again, the impact rattling the insides of Jey Uso.
38:53And again, Gunther with a sleeper, the choke, trying to put Uso out here.
38:57And you know, Gunther really wants to win it with a move.
39:01Jey used to beat him at WrestleMania.
39:03Indeed, Gunther was embarrassed and humiliated after tapping out to Jey Uso.
39:08And WrestleMania would love to tap the champion tonight.
39:11Jey Uso trying to drag Gunther over the top rope and break this here.
39:14Gunther dumped to the floor.
39:16Desperation move from Jey Uso is now blocking out the pain and hitting top speed.
39:21And now he hits the suicide dive and down goes Gunther and Uso trying to rally now.
39:27Jey Uso's best hope at this point may well be a double count out.
39:33Neither man moving whatsoever.
39:36Jey can't even breathe down.
39:39Again, you've had injured ribs in your career.
39:41So difficult to catch your breath, especially so deep in the match.
39:44Yeah, you can't move, you can't twist, you can't inhale.
39:47You certainly can't defend the World Heavyweight Championship against the Ring General Gunther.
39:53Yeah, Gunther mentioned it before.
39:56He's a machine, he's a Terminator.
39:59Takes all the emotion out of the matchup.
40:01It's just kill or be killed when it comes to Gunther.
40:05No mercy, no remorse, complete absence of malice.
40:09You want to get to the top, your mind has to be a compassion-free zone.
40:13And that is something Gunther excels at.
40:17Gunther top roll, Uso got his knees up.
40:23Jey spin!
40:26Gonna kill it now, Jey.
40:28Got him in position, Jey Uso going up top, looking to retain the championship.
40:32Jey Uso now, Uso splash!
40:34And Jey hooks the leg!
40:37Gunther kicks out!
40:39Oh man!
40:42Jey Uso out of nowhere, connecting with the spear, softening the big man up,
40:50putting his own body on the line to hit the big one.
40:53The splash!
40:54This is it!
40:55Uh-uh!
40:56Not today!
40:56Not against the ring general!
41:00And that might have been Jey Uso's final flurry.
41:04Got up in smoke.
41:05I was going to say, Wade, if you're Uso, mentally, how do you cope with the fact that you just hit him with your one-two and he kicked out?
41:12It's utterly devastating at the best of times, even more so when you doubt your body's own ability to cooperate and hit something that big again in this match.
41:23Jey Uso trying to drag himself back to his feet here.
41:31Gunther as well.
41:33Jey Uso measuring his mane.
41:35Gunther unsighted and defenseless, pulling himself up in the corner.
41:40Gunther doesn't realize that Jey Uso is set ready to spring.
41:43Oh, now he does!
41:44He turns Jey inside out.
41:46Absolutely baited Jey in.
41:47He was fully aware what was going on there, Cole.
41:50And now Gunther went for the powerbomb.
41:53Uso able to counter!
41:54Puts the leg to retain!
41:56A kill and a half!
41:57So much resilience from Jey Uso.
42:00And a kick to Gunther and now Gunther's in trouble.
42:02And now Jey Uso back into the sleeper.
42:06Jey Uso looking to take out Gunther.
42:07Gunther turns it around now.
42:09Oh, and a knee right to the spine.
42:12So well-skilled.
42:13Technically, not more than five seconds in these sleepers.
42:17And Gunther rings it.
42:18Oh no, not the powerbomb!
42:19Stacks him up!
42:21Jey still has some life!
42:27Now Gunther perhaps starting to get frustrated.
42:30He knows he's got a lame duck in the ring with him,
42:33but he simply cannot put him to the sword.
42:36Yeah, Valiant champion Jey Uso able to kick out of that powerbomb
42:40despite the injured midsection.
42:42Gunther, though, realizes Uso's wounded and he's waiting to take out his prey.
42:53Gunther is hurting.
42:54That is a testament to the job Jey Uso has already done this evening.
42:59But it might be about to go downhill rapidly.
43:02Gunther with a spear!
43:03Gunther with a spear of his own!
43:06Cover!
43:06Hooks the leg!
43:08Jey still in it!
43:10Man, Gunther wanted to take out Jey with Jey's own move.
43:14And somehow Uso was able to kick out.
43:17First time in Gunther's career he's tried that.
43:21He tried it for a reason.
43:23Message said to a broken and battered Jey Uso.
43:27Yeah, but what a courageous title defense tonight for main event Jey Uso.
43:3820-25 really has been the year of Jey Uso.
43:42More momentum than anybody on the roster
43:47might be about to hit a brick wall in the form of this big Austrian.
43:51Jey trying to somehow fight back up to his feet.
43:54Big right.
43:59Gunther's not reinventing the wheel here.
44:03It's all basic moves.
44:04Clothes on his big boots.
44:07Where is it?
44:09Show it to me now.
44:11You're not.
44:12You're not.
44:12You're not.
44:13It's the better than anyone else.
44:15Now just trash talking.
44:18Jey Uso will not go away without a fight.
44:23Still on his feet after a stiff arm.
44:27Clothesline by Gunther and another one.
44:29And Jey still fighting back.
44:31Digging down deep.
44:33Showing some guts and hearts tonight.
44:36And the courageous champion now.
44:38Went for a sleeper.
44:39But again Gunther out so quickly.
44:41And then one of his own.
44:43You ain't getting out of this one.
44:44Oh yes you are.
44:45And Jey Uso driving Gunther face first into the turnbuckle.
44:48Kick of his own.
44:50Jey.
44:51Spear.
44:54Does Jey have anything left?
44:56Well it didn't work the first time.
44:58Gunther's softened up for good now.
45:00Jey heading up top.
45:01Uso with an Uso splash.
45:03Nobody home.
45:04Right to the bad ribs.
45:06And that could prove costly for the champion.
45:10That was as close as you'll ever get to a scream from Jey Uso involuntary.
45:17An outlet for this massive amount of pain.
45:19And oh my god the hugs are enclosed.
45:21Yeah the constrictor like maneuver here by Gunther.
45:27Now he just puts the full weight of his body on top of Uso.
45:31Look at how the arm has slipped underneath the chin into a choke.
45:34As Jey now tries to make it to the bottom rope.
45:37That would force a break.
45:39Can Jey hang on?
45:40Can Jey Uso hang on?
45:41Gunther drags him back to the middle of the ring.
45:43Gunther with a sleeper still applied.
45:45Again no way out of this perhaps for Jey.
45:48He's desperately scrambling with everything he's got.
45:52Gunther.
45:52Oh.
45:53The fingertips on there.
45:54Yeah but Gunther pulled him back to the center of the ring.
45:56Yeah he didn't have a good grip on that rope.
45:58Certainly not good enough to break that hold.
46:00And again now he just drags Uso back down to the ring.
46:03Jey Uso's center of the ring could be fading.
46:05Gunther's got his entire weight wrapped around the body of Jey Uso.
46:10Jey trying to fight back.
46:11The champion trying to stay in this.
46:13This audience willing Jey back into this.
46:15Do something please.
46:16Jey Uso trying to fight out.
46:19But his eyes look like they're beginning to roll into the back of his head.
46:22Jey does he have some fight left?
46:24Jey trying to stay in this.
46:25Jey trying to fight back.
46:27Jey trying to make it to the ropes.
46:28All the while that carotid artery has been squeezed shut.
46:32Back to a vertical base for Uso.
46:34But Gunther drags him back down on the mat again.
46:37And that could be the last gasp for the world heavyweight champion.
46:41Can Jey stay in it?
46:43He's fading rapidly.
46:45The eyes of Jey.
46:47Oh.
46:47Yeah but how smart is Gunther?
46:50Oh wait a minute.
46:51Now Uso into the sweeper.
46:52Uso with an opportunity.
46:54Somehow staying in this.
46:57I don't know how Uso's got any power left in those limbs.
47:02All out adrenaline for the champion.
47:04Gunther's now fading.
47:05Shades of WrestleMania.
47:06Shades of WrestleMania.
47:08Will the ring general tap?
47:09Will Uso retain here?
47:11Is Gunther going to tap out again?
47:13Kameinavang Jey Uso.
47:16He's in his way out of there again.
47:18Gunther able to slip underneath.
47:19And now the well-placed elbows to Uso.
47:21And now Gunther again wraps it in.
47:25And Gunther now wrapped around the body of the champion.
47:29Does Jey have anything left?
47:31Anything left?
47:32So much taken out of Jey.
47:34The eyes surely faded now.
47:36Must be a million miles away from those ropes.
47:39There's no fight left Cole.
47:41Jey has nothing left in him and it doesn't appear.
47:44Trying to somehow slip out of this sleeper by Gunther.
47:47Jey Uso's out.
47:48Jey Uso is out.
47:49I believe he is out.
47:51Gunther becomes the new world champion.
47:54Here is your winner in the new world heavyweight champion.
48:08The ring general, Gunther!
48:14Well the expression on the face of the new world champion says it all.
48:19He knows he was in a fight tonight.
48:22A massive fight with a very game and valiant, courageous Jey Uso.
48:27But at the end of the day, Gunther is once again, for the second time in his career, a world heavyweight champion.
48:36Jey Uso has just done too much over the last couple of months.
48:41He's been one hell of a champion.
48:43But I'll tell you, I don't care how good you are in this game.
48:48Even the very best taken out occasionally.
48:52But the greats, they come back and they avenge their losses with whatever it takes.
48:59And it took everything but the kitchen sink from Gunther tonight to prize Jey Uso's grip of the world heavyweight championship.
49:09You do question what kind of fight would it be.
49:12I mean, Jey Uso really been rested at 100%.
49:19But Gunther didn't care and nor should he.
49:21This was about the big one.
49:23This was about the gold.
49:24This was about the world heavyweight championship.
49:27And in that moment, a new champ was crowned.
49:33Gunther who prides himself in always carrying gold.
49:37As Jey Uso and his son there at ringside.
49:45It is once again the dawning of the ring general's era.
49:49Gunther is once again world heavyweight champion.
