00:00what's the concept of the show well viva carnival is as kind of the name suggests it's going to be
00:13one big party that's what i know and i guess i'm there to bring a slightly different element to
00:19the show with maybe an essence of tango so it's a little bit more moody of course whenever you
00:25choreograph a show and you create a show you want it to have light and shade so as much as it's going
00:31to be an overall party we i'm sure we're going to want to have moments where it's a little bit
00:35calmer so that we can you know make the most of them the high moments so that's kind of i think
00:42what i'll be bringing to the show but in essence you're going to come and have an amazing time
00:46it's going to be incredible music the atmosphere is going to be electric and uh yeah and overall
00:52it's going to be a fab night out really well obviously bringing the show to blackpool so can
00:57i ask how you're feeling about that trip i love blackpool one of my favorite places um so yeah i
01:04mean i i first i went to blackpool i was probably 13 14 and it was for you know obviously the winter
01:10gardens or the tower and i've been back many times so yeah i think for most dancers heart blackpool has
01:16a real big place in you know our hearts and we spent a lot of time there um i also have one of
01:23my best friends russell grant lives there now so it's going to be amazing to see him there hopefully
01:28he'll come and see the show and uh yeah i just i just love blackpool and i remember you know when i
01:34was younger you know going to the arcades as much as you know dancing and competing uh there's so much
01:42you know fun up there and it is really the capital of of dance i'm back there in july again doing a
01:47workshop i mean there's so many dance events up there that are held that it's um yeah it's a really
01:53special place with blackpool being at the heart of a lot of dance people's history essentially do you
02:00think it'll feel different for you dancing on the stage there i've danced on stage there several times
02:06with my other previous shows and the audience is always you know they're always amazing but it's
02:11going to be lovely to be back yeah it's going to be really nice i'm going to look forward to
02:15going to some of the venues i've been to before and it will be you know six years now um that i
02:22haven't been on the stage so it's going to be really exciting i mean i have a whole load of mixed
02:26emotions obviously i'm really excited i'm a little bit apprehensive because it's obviously been a while
02:32so i'm going to just try and channel all of those emotions into kind of positive adrenaline because
02:38it could get a bit overwhelming otherwise but predominantly i'm just very excited and also very
02:44grateful that i have this opportunity you know to to be able to get back on stage
02:49godless of where people are in the uk why should they get tickets to see you in viva carnival
02:55well as i said i've not performed for six years which is um you know it's quite a long time
03:01and i guess it's a little bit um not everybody kind of has a break and then has a comeback as well
03:09and this is just a start it's just the first stepping stone back into it but i'm fortunate
03:14enough that you know i feel like i have the the energy and the uh mental and physical kind of i'm in
03:19a place where i can do that and i had such great support from everybody from audiences all over
03:25the uk for eight years when i was touring with vincent that i hope that um they can come again
03:30and support me and enjoy you know the show and any other projects that i go on to doing really and
03:39hopefully if they got some enjoyment before they'll get more enjoyment now this is the start of the
03:45long return is there anything else fabulous you'd like to mention that you've got coming up
03:49um not at the moment lots of things in the pipeline um i'm going to get my teeth stuck into this project
03:57because obviously it's the first project back for a while so i want to really try and focus
04:01um but i've got lots of other things bubbling up under the surface for next year which will be exciting
04:07so yes watch this space but in the meantime i'm going to be 110 committed to uh viva carnival
