Venerdì non lo era grazie all'intervento del governo federale» ha aggiunto. Il presidente continua ad aumentare il numero dei membri della Guardia nazionale mandati in California, per sedare le proteste contro le retate degli immigrati. Mentre anche il governatore Gavin Newsom condanna l'azione del presidente («È uno sfacciato abuso di potere, contro il quale faremo causa»), le proteste e gli arresti si allargano anche a San Francisco.
