Four childhood friends are continuing their emotional 225-mile walk from Llangwm in Pembrokeshire to Chamberlain Square in Birmingham to honour the memory of their and other fathers everywhere, and to raise funds for two important causes - the British Heart Foundation and Help Harry Help Others Cancer Charity.
Inspired by the memory of Neil’s father, Wally Hames, who passed in 2020, the group are walking for 11 days through some of Britain’s most scenic landscapes.
Their journey ends on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15, in Birmingham’s Chamberlain Square—a powerful tribute to the fathers they honour and the lives they hope to change through their fundraising efforts.
