Gulshan (Aamir Khan) is a talented yet arrogant basketball coach whose life spirals out of control after a DUI incident lands him with court-ordered community service. His task: coach a team of neurodivergent adults—some with autism, Down syndrome, and other intellectual disabilities—for a special league tournament. At first dismissive, Gulshan soon discovers these “stars of the ground” teach him as much about life, compassion, and acceptance as he teaches them about the game
This heartfelt film is a Hindi remake of the Spanish movie Champions (2018) and serves as a spiritual successor to Aamir's acclaimed Taare Zameen Par (2007), exchanging tears for laughter but preserving the focus on underrepresented communities
