00:09But the incident didn't turn out as he had thought.

00:13Minister Rane paid a surprise visit to the GMCH premises in Goa on June 7, 2025.
00:20In the now viral video, he is reacting to a complaint received on his phone,
00:24alleging that the doctor was refusing to treat a patient and had misbehaved.
00:27During the visit, Rane publicly lambasted the hospital's chief medical officer,
00:31Dr. Rodiresh Kuritkare, and suspended him.
00:40However, the video posted by the health minister sparked criticism.
00:44Some users commented saying the minister should be suspended instead.
00:50Soon, the Goa Chief Minister Pramodh Savant stepped in and assured that there would be no suspension.
00:55On June 8, the Goa Association of Resident Doctors issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the health minister
