00:00KONFIDENTIAL
00:30Hi again, I'm Gene Okerlund and this is WWE Confidential.
00:49Well, it's been quite a week here at the WWE.
00:53WrestleMania is just eight days away and the testosterone level is already off the charts.
00:59Personally, I was thrilled to be in the ring on SmackDown with the Hulkster after all these years.
01:05But what transpired after between Hulk and Mr. McMahon?
01:09Well, let's just say I could have lived without that.
01:12Like I said, it's been quite a week and it all seemed to get heated up at the WrestleMania press conference this past Tuesday.
01:20We'll have more on that a little bit later on.
01:23First up tonight, WrestleMania.
01:25It started out as an ambitious idea and has since become a permanent part of American culture.
01:32This ambitious experience of putting sports entertainment on center stage for a single night has since turned into an annual worldwide event.
01:41This year, more than 55,000 fans will pack Safeco Field in Seattle and millions more around the world will have the opportunity to bear witness to this year's grand spectacular on pay per view.
01:55It's hard to believe it's already been 19 years and I know I'm not alone in saying no one could have imagined just how big WrestleMania would become when it all started back on March 31st in 1985.
02:10The first WrestleMania suggestion was done in Stanford, Connecticut, and it was in a meeting with George Scott and Vince McMahon when the suggestion came up.
02:25I was totally in awe and shock of the suggestion.
02:32A year before another promotion had tried something similar to WrestleMania and really didn't get it off the ground.
02:39But with Vince's power team behind him and the New York stroke behind him, I kind of figured that, hey, this man can pull something like this off.
02:52I didn't work here when WrestleMania was first created.
02:57When I first heard the idea of WrestleMania, I thought it was crazy.
03:02And I thought that it was the craziest idea that I'd ever heard.
03:07I felt it was horrible for the business.
03:10Didn't like any aspect of it. I did not like mixing actors with wrestlers.
03:17I felt that there were two different arenas that actors needed to stay out of our arena and wrestlers needed to stay out of the acting arena.
03:24I didn't have any doubts about the principle WrestleMania, principle how it was going to be done.
03:31Of course, you always have doubts. You know, closed circuit TV at that time was big in boxing.
03:36Nobody had ever tried it in anything else.
03:39And, you know, getting all the venues together and getting, you know, the production together.
03:45Those things kind of in the back of your mind, wow, is all this going to fall together at one time, at one location and then beam throughout the world?
03:58How can this happen like this?
04:00I hated the idea, but I paid to see it on closed circuit television for WrestleMania one.
04:06Welcome to the greatest sports entertainment spectacular of all time.
04:12Welcome to WrestleMania.
04:15I remember I was at a closed circuit venue promoting the venue in Miami, Florida.
04:21And I saw 15,000 people come into a venue to watch WrestleMania one on TV screen.
04:29It amazed me.
04:30And from that moment on, it was just like a giant snowball coming down a mountainside.
04:36It just kept getting bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger to what we have now.
04:41Welcome, everyone.
04:42Gorilla Monsoon here at ringside with my colleague Jesse the Body Ventura as the World Wrestling Federation presents the wrestling extravaganza of all-time WrestleMania.
04:53As the weeks came, you could feel the energy all over the world, all over the country.
04:57People were talking about it.
04:59And this man was right.
05:01He produced something no one else had ever thought of.
05:04Oh, sure, there's a bunch of promoters that will say, hey, I had that idea.
05:08Well, why didn't you do it?
05:09And why are you running in some high school barn someplace in Tupelo, Mississippi?
05:14I mean, he went right to the garden.
05:17Boy, when they came out, Billy Martin and the Rockettes and Liberace and the dancing and the kicking and the introductions.
05:26And when Mr. T came out, I said to myself, this is the greatest thing I've ever seen.
05:32And I went up to Vince that night.
05:34I had a beer and I said, here's to WrestleMania 2.
05:36He said, what do you mean WrestleMania 2?
05:38Here's to WrestleMania 102.
05:41And that's how it started.
05:43Ladies and gentlemen, in just a few moments, we will have our main event.
05:55WrestleMania 1 was the best highlight for me to knowing that you're amongst great people in the world.
06:03To have, you know, Mr. T there, and of course, Muhammad Ali was there, and then you got, you know, the rest of us that was all out there, you know, and Hulk Hogan, and Piper, and myself, and Cowboy.
06:21And that was the greatest highlight for me knowing that I was involved in it with all these guys there.
06:28And that feeling will never, ever probably be duplicated again, because that's, that's one, one day that started it off.
06:43KONIEC!
07:13WESTLEMANIA!
07:15WESTLEMANIA!
07:17When we return, WrestleMania brings out the best in HBK.
07:22I made a point to go out there and try to be the very best in this business.
07:35Going an hour was at WrestleMania main event.
07:37It was a little nerve wracking in and of itself.
07:40And then to do this entrance was just on top of that.
07:46So it was a little distracting, to say the least.
07:50But once I got up there, I guess the idea that I had to wrestle an hour
07:55took my mind off of the fact that I was standing who knows how high.
08:01And I did it once that day.
08:03And of course, Vince came to me and said, I've done it.
08:06And that's what I love about him.
08:08He's never asked me to do anything that he himself would not do or endure.
08:14And he rode it and then I did it.
08:16And they asked if I wanted to do it again.
08:18And I said, no, one's enough.
08:20It happened fairly quickly and it was, you know, enjoyable.
08:24There's only one heartbreak kid, Shawn Michaels.
08:29Oh, no.
08:30Look at that.
08:31Unbelievable.
08:32What a ride.
08:37Shawn Michaels' spectacular entrance at WrestleMania 12 was just one of the heartbreak kid shining moments at the grand showcase.
08:45It has often been said that no matter how an athlete performs during the regular season, he is judged for better or worse by his performance in the big games at crunch time, if you will.
08:57Make no mistake about it.
08:59WrestleMania is like the World Series and March Madness all in one.
09:03And it could be argued that no one has ever outperformed Shawn Michaels at any big event, especially a WrestleMania.
09:15It's the biggest show in our business.
09:17Welcome to WrestleMania.
09:20At that point at WrestleMania, everything is real.
09:23It don't get no bigger than this.
09:25This is what our business is all about.
09:27When I was younger, it was about going in there and just putting on the best performance that I had.
09:33Shawn Michaels pulling out all the stops here.
09:36He don't care about size.
09:38He's just full of fire.
09:39And then at later stages, it became about proving something.
09:44Someday we'll be wearing the gold.
09:46This man's the star of the 90s, Monsoon.
09:49And so I made a point to go out there and try to be the very best in this business, especially at WrestleMania.
09:57Nobody has ever, ever outperformed Shawn Michaels in a big match situation.
10:03There's only one, a big kid, Shawn Michaels.
10:08Oh, no.
10:09Look at that.
10:10He is Superman.
10:13Winning my first WWE title at a WrestleMania is as good as you can ask for.
10:18It is a combination of everything that's the biggest.
10:21The World Championship and WrestleMania.
10:23You cannot reach any higher plateau than that.
10:26Michael's gonna cover!
10:27One!
10:28Two!
10:29Go!
10:30And the boyhood dream has come true by Shawn Michaels!
10:36My last one, WrestleMania 14, was about getting through.
10:45I think Shawn is hurt.
10:46I think he's hurt bad.
10:47This whole match is a testament to Michaels' intestinal fortitude.
10:51And Shawn Michaels!
10:52There we go!
10:53My God, can you believe this man?
10:54I think my legacy will be that you can't just put it on one.
10:58I hope.
10:59I hope.
11:00I hope it will be, you know, Shawn Michaels' WrestleMania legacy will be WrestleMania's.
11:14When we return, the attraction that is WrestleMania.
11:18People wanna be a part of WrestleMania.
11:20A lot of people seek WrestleMania out because they know it's a big event.
11:25And now, the WWE WrestleMania moment is brought to you by Snickers Cruncher.
11:30Looking for a satisfying crunch?
11:32Grab a Snickers Cruncher.
11:33I'm here with the Intercontinental Champion.
11:37Actually, whoa, actually Jenny, it's the People's Intercontinental Champion.
11:42Excuse me, the People's Intercontinental Champion, The Rock.
11:47Now, Rock, the people wanna know if you were the leader of this country, how would you run things?
11:53Well, first and foremost, as long as all The Rock's fans across the country realized that The Rock is the judge and the jury, everything should be fine.
12:03And actually, well, actually Jenny, after The Rock contemplated that for a second, if The Rock were the jury, The Rock feels like this, nine times out of ten, he'd be a hung jury.
12:14If you smell what I'm cooking.
12:16How would you run the White House?
12:17The Rock feels like this.
12:18As long as all the interns in the White House, beneath The Rock, knew their damn role, and they didn't get out of hand, step out of line, and they didn't do anything orally wrong, excuse me Jenny, morally wrong,
12:30then The Rock wouldn't have to do what he does best, and that's lay the smack down in a major way.
12:35Thank you very much Jenny.
12:37And a catchphrase was born, if you can smell what I'm cooking.
12:45For 19 years, celebrities have continued to play a prominent role at WrestleMania.
12:50Muhammad Ali, Liberace, Ray Charles, Cyndi Lauper, Aretha Franklin, Ozzy Osbourne, and Run DMC are just a few of the many stars that have basked in the WrestleMania spotlight.
13:02This year, Limp Bizkit will headline yet another outstanding cast of mainstream artists performing at WrestleMania 19.
13:10No question, Fred Durst is pretty cool, but my personal all-time favorite was, and still is, Baywatch beauty, Pamela Anderson.
13:20Now, she's what I call a main event.
13:23I think at first, when WrestleMania first started, the sport of pro wrestling as an entertainment forum was so considered the redheaded stepchild of the entertainment business, and no one really took it seriously.
13:35It was considered to be just like trailer park people and, you know, rednecks.
13:40But I think the celebrities kind of brought a lot of mainstream publicity and brought kind of the overall media into realizing that wrestling was the premier form of entertainment.
13:49There's such a huge crossover between world wrestling entertainment and other fields of entertainment, music, television, movies.
13:57People want to be a part of WrestleMania.
14:00I mean, I don't know that it's really a situation where we have to seek them out.
14:04A lot of people, I think, seek WrestleMania out because they know it's a big event.
14:10I think their presence meant a lot, but I can guarantee you that their agent said to them,
14:14Hey, WrestleMania slash how many millions of viewers? It's good for you. You know, it's a good deal.
14:20I mean, I think a lot of people have tied themselves to wrestling because it's a very popular entity, and it's a very popular business or sport, whatever we are.
14:28And I think they kind of help break through the wall where it's like, well, gee, if Liberace's out there and if Pamela Anderson and, you know, Jenny McCarthy are out there or Muhammad Ali's involved, maybe it's something I should check out and see what it's all about.
14:42It also brings a certain elegance to it.
14:45People like to see celebrities much the same as I don't think any different than when you go to a Laker game.
14:50You know, you go to the Laker game, you see Jack Nicholson there all the time.
14:54You see Diane Cannon there. You go to a Clipper game, Billy Crystal's always there.
14:59So I think that it gives people a certain sense that they're in the mainstream.
15:04I was probably like most of the wrestlers that didn't think it was right to have Liberace, Billy Martin, Muhammad Ali, the Rockettes, all that involved.
15:15This was wrestling. Mr. T, he's a television guy. He's a bouncer from a bar in Chicago.
15:21He's got an old cedar hairdo. He wears 50 pounds of fake jewelry. He's got a gumball machine.
15:26And he's going to be in the main event with Hulk Hogan against Rowdy Roddy Pike and Orlendorf.
15:31Never in my wildest imagination did I think a Cyndi Lauper or a Muhammad Ali, a Liberace would outshine the superstars that we had at that time.
15:40All that the celebrities did, they did exactly what they were meant to do.
15:45They brought in outside people and outside eyeballs to see the talent that the athletes had.
15:52Right now it is my very dear pleasure to introduce to you.
16:06My favorite celebrity at WrestleMania was Willie Nelson.
16:10I got to hang out with him the night before WrestleMania.
16:13He sang Angel flying too close to the ground, just right there.
16:17No music, no anything, and it was pretty cool.
16:22Yo, Mr. Downey! Give me that smoke would you?
16:29Yeah!
16:31Yeah!
16:36Oh!
16:38Wrecking!
16:39Tyson!
16:40Tyson!
16:41Tyson!
16:42Ozzy Aspart, what an explosion you had me have.
16:44A tremendous, inspirational source for the ball.
16:46That's fantastic, man. The British ball noche forever!
16:49Here's the ball on stage.
16:51Zobaczmy!
16:51Zobaczmy!
16:52I don't plan to hit it that hard, but I'll do my best.
16:54With champagne wishes and caviar dreams, may the best man win!
16:59I do remember trying to get in Reba McIntyre's dressing room.
17:01She said, ooh, nature boy.
17:02It's based on that right tonight.
17:04Woo!
17:04You better play this on confidential now, because no matter if you don't.
17:07Reba, it's the nature boy calling again.
17:08Woo!
17:16I have to admit, I enjoyed the Pete Rose contributions with Kane.
17:20I was a big Pete Rose fan growing up, so it was really cool to meet him.
17:26It was cool to see him get a tombstone year after year after year.
17:31Lawrence Taylor, without a doubt, was a joy to be with and to be around,
17:37because, again, he was someone who respected our business
17:40and had a lot of fun doing what he did.
17:42I never will forget Matt Patterson training him, and Stanford coming to me one night.
17:47said, this guy's a horse, this guy's a great athlete, and he lived up to the billing.
17:54Get in there, DiBiase!
17:56He did it!
17:58I cannot believe it!
18:02Celebrities?
18:03I think it adds to the mystique and magnitude of WrestleMania,
18:06but still, it comes down to the performers at WrestleMania and that's the wrestlers, the superstars.
18:15Up next, the hype has begun for WrestleMania 19.
18:19I think the biggest thing that happened at the press conference today
18:23were the obvious comments from Hulk Hogan and Vince McMahon.
18:28It's a 20-year history, one that I'm baffled by today.
18:33Wrestlemania is what you work hard for all year long.
18:45It's where you carve your name in this company.
18:48If you don't do it at WrestleMania, it doesn't get done.
18:52Anyone that's ever made it, The Undertaker,
18:55Rock, Stone Cold, Hulk Hogan,
18:59all had important moments at WrestleMania.
19:05First WrestleMania I saw was Hogan vs. Andre.
19:10The irresistible force meeting the invisible object.
19:14Of course, me being the bigger kid, I was a giant fan.
19:17I was a fan of Andre.
19:18Little did I know how the progression of time and where it would lead me.
19:22Standing in the ring at my first main event, WrestleMania.
19:28Just the adrenaline, the excitement at the beginning of that match for me,
19:32notice the main event at WrestleMania.
19:35It was like nothing I can describe.
19:39That moment I'll never forget.
19:40Snickers Cruncher presents WWE WrestleMania 19.
19:56Coming to you live next Sunday, March 30th,
19:59from Safeco Field in Seattle, Washington.
20:02Looking for a satisfying crunch?
20:04Grab a Snickers Cruncher.
20:05And you're listening to the theme song for WrestleMania 19 by Limp Bizkit.
20:10Who will be performing live at WrestleMania 19.
20:14When you think WrestleMania press conference,
20:17you know it's not going to be your standard,
20:19everyday, boring sports press conference.
20:21Not by a long shot.
20:23I think everyone remembers the WrestleMania 11 press conference.
20:28That's when NFL Hall of Famer Lawrence Taylor
20:30got in the face of Bam Bam Bigelow.
20:33That kind of set a standard.
20:35And it was soon topped by WrestleMania 14.
20:37If you will recall, boxing's bad boy, Iron Mike Tyson,
20:42got between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels in that one.
20:46Hey, at least no one got a bite taken out of them in the exchange.
20:51And that brings me to this year's press conference.
20:54This past Tuesday, New York City.
20:56The ESPN Zone and the match that has been 20 years in the making.
21:02Hulk Hogan taking on a man who has been at times his friend,
21:05but mostly his chief adversary for nearly two decades.
21:10One, Vincent Kennedy McMahon.
21:16World Wrestling Entertainment is here at the ESPN Zone.
21:19We're here for a press conference promoting WrestleMania 19, March 30th in Seattle.
21:23It's exciting because there's so much energy.
21:26I mean, not only, you know, for the performers, but the media is excited about it.
21:30Obviously, the fans are excited about it.
21:32Obviously, WrestleMania is the biggest pay-per-view event of the year.
21:34And as always, we have special guests.
21:36And this year is no different.
21:39Please welcome the Miller Lite Catfight Girls, Katana and Tanya.
21:45The Miller Lite Catfight Girls.
21:48I mean, this is going to be fun.
21:49Who knows if, you know, they're going to get into it.
21:52We're just going to have to wait and see.
22:02WrestleMania is it.
22:03It showcases all the best talent in the WWE.
22:06Every match you see is a main event match.
22:08If you are in this business, you breathe every breath of your career
22:13with the goal to get to WrestleMania.
22:16It's indescribable.
22:17WrestleMania is the defining event, in my opinion, in this industry.
22:20And, you know, to be a part of it really defines this new relationship I have with WWE.
22:25I'm extremely happy to be back here, right here, talking about WrestleMania 19,
22:29because I definitely didn't think I'd be a part of it.
22:31I was gone for seven or eight months from WWE.
22:33Kind of took a little hiatus.
22:34A lot of creative problems, a lot of personal problems.
22:36Everything piled up on me, and it was time to exit.
22:38So here I am back, and I'm extremely happy to be a part of WrestleMania 19.
22:42WrestleMania has a very special place in my heart.
22:45And every year, to be a part of WrestleMania, to have the honor and the privilege
22:49to be either behind the scenes or in front of the camera, it is truly an honor.
22:55Each WrestleMania has its own personality.
22:58And this one certainly has a total different kind of personality.
23:01The level of athleticism, you know, at this year's WrestleMania is really off the chart.
23:05At WrestleMania, Booker T and I will blow the roof off of Safeco Field.
23:16Guaranteed.
23:16We will put on a performance like no one else.
23:19But just getting that to me is not something I'm satisfied with.
23:23And to complete the saga, I gotta win.
23:31Rock, in anything that he does, he's driven to be the best.
23:34And the same goes for me.
23:36And whatever I do, I do not like to be second best.
23:38I want to be the best at what I do.
23:39I give him credit for everything he's done in Hollywood.
23:41But when it comes time to getting in the ring, Stone Cold Steve Austin is always the better man.
23:45And that's pretty much the bottom line on that deal.
23:50Without a doubt, bar none, no Stone Cold, no Hulkamania, no Rock, no Triple H.
23:57Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle are the two best athletes here.
23:59And when it comes down to it, you're going to see the very best athlete come out on top.
24:03And to him and I, it's personal.
24:05As a young amateur wrestler, I got to watch Kurt become an Olympic gold medalist.
24:12And that's something that I wanted to do.
24:14At WrestleMania 19, Kurt Angle, I guarantee you one thing.
24:18I'm going to bring the pain.
24:20I think the biggest thing that happened at the press conference today were the obvious comments from Hulk Hogan and Vince McMahon.
24:33It's a 20-year history, one that I'm baffled by today.
24:38What you saw up there with the tension with Hogan and myself is very real.
24:43There's always been tension.
24:44And, you know, it's going to manifest itself.
24:46I'm going to have fun, you know, in our match, you know, because it's an opportunity for me to vent my feelings from a physical standpoint.
24:53And actually a socially acceptable way, you know, as opposed to doing it on the street.
24:58Vince is like this monument.
25:00He's like a Mount Rushmore.
25:01He's always got the game going.
25:02He's always got his face on.
25:04He doesn't deviate from the norm, from being strong.
25:09Today, I saw something in him I've never seen before.
25:13He's not so sure what he's got himself into.
25:16I'm just anxious to see what's going to happen in the ring at WrestleMania.
25:21When you return, an unforgettable match at an unforgettable event.
25:26WrestleMania 3 today, to me, is still the greatest WrestleMania of all time.
25:30We outdrew the Rolling Stones.
25:32We outdrew the Pope.
25:34WrestleMania is the coup de grace.
25:42It's just the epitome of where you want to be.
25:45If you are a pro wrestler, your main goal is to get a shot at WrestleMania.
25:50This little 150 pounds by Dudley.
25:54The runs of the Dudley letter has made an impact.
25:56You have 100,000 people live.
25:58You've got millions watching worldwide.
26:00It is the show.
26:01WrestleMania 2, but the world has come to.
26:07My first WrestleMania, I didn't get to see the first one because I didn't have access to cable television or anything, was WrestleMania 2.
26:13And it was Hulk Hogan versus King Kong Bundy.
26:16It was Andre the Giant in a battle royal match.
26:19Roddy Piper versus Mr. T.
26:21It's not my idea to be talking right before a big fight.
26:24I don't like to do a lot of talking.
26:25My fist is going to do the talking in the ring.
26:27And it was awesome.
26:28It was everything that I had hoped it would be.
26:30Just everything lived up to the hype.
26:32And it was a wrestling fan's dream come true.
26:35And when it was over, you said, I can't wait for WrestleMania 2 or 3 or 4 or whatever.
26:41You're just looking forward to the next one.
26:43There are certain occasions that seem to live forever in time.
26:51They're like a perpetual snapshot capturing a perfect moment.
26:55The kind of moment where everyone can remember where they were when it happened.
27:00Case in point, March the 29th of 1987.
27:05WrestleMania 3, the Pontiac Silverdome, and a record-breaking crowd of 93,173.
27:12On that day, it seemed as if the earth stood still.
27:16At least for a moment.
27:17Because that's when Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant faced off in a battle of legends.
27:24I remember the first time hearing that WrestleMania 3 was going to take place at Pontiac Silverdome.
27:30And I thought that Vince McMahon had lost his mind.
27:33We're going to hold it where?
27:34And we're going to have how many people?
27:36You've got to be kidding me.
27:38And wow, and just coming up to the Pontiac Silverdome, people had been camped out there for two or three days at a time.
27:47And I've been to a couple of Super Bowls.
27:50And believe me, I've never seen anything like that in my life.
27:53Welcome to WrestleMania 3!
27:57We'd had WrestleManias, but this one took it to another level.
28:02The significance of Hulk vs. Andre, that was Ali vs. Frasier.
28:08That was the match.
28:11They were two larger-than-life characters.
28:15It represented the first ever real mega event.
28:18And it represented what the caliber of a WrestleMania main event is supposed to be.
28:22You had Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant,
28:25and it was the two biggest forces there was at the time in sports entertainment.
28:29And it's like you can't see either one of them losing.
28:31I think it was a lot of curiosity.
28:34Can Hulk Hogan slam this 500-pound monster?
28:38Can Hulk Hogan even move this 500-pound monster?
28:42And I think the mainstream press caught on to this so, so big time.
28:49Here's this blonde-headed sun god that's just built like who knows what.
28:55And at that time, there weren't a lot of guys like Hulk Hogan in the business.
28:59And there definitely wasn't a lot of guys like Andre the Giant.
29:03And for these two colossal men to meet in the center of the ring,
29:08in the same match, in the same building,
29:10once again, it was Goosebumps City.
29:14This is the main event of the evening.
29:16It is for the World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Championship.
29:23When I went through my mind coming out on those carts from 93,000 people,
29:29it never hit me there are 93,000 people here.
29:33You know what hit me?
29:34There are billions at home watching.
29:37That's what really got me.
29:39Because I've been to this whole lot of arenas before.
29:41Never anything close to 93,000.
29:44Never anything close to probably 40,000.
29:46But my God, this was...
29:49I was thinking of the television audience.
29:51What is happening here today?
29:53I'm in the main event.
29:55I'm part of history.
29:57Wow.
29:58It was something.
29:58The roof of the Silverdome about to explode here.
30:03And Hulkamania, look at it, just is alive and running well.
30:08You got 93,173 fans standing on their feet for this one, Gorilla.
30:14WrestleMania III today, to me, is still the greatest WrestleMania of all time.
30:19We outdrew the Rolling Stones.
30:20We outdrew the Pope, who came later that year and held free mass in the Silverdome.
30:25It took two, and I think probably at that time, the two biggest stars in the industry.
30:31Because Andre was worldwide at that time, world known, as was Hulk.
30:36And Hulkamania was on fire.
30:37And I think that they're beyond a shot without the two biggest personalities in our sport.
30:42It's just a huge promotion built around two huge stars.
30:46Look at the stare of the champion against the challenger.
30:50The irresistible force meeting the immovable object.
30:53A moment in that match was when Hulk Hogan first went to slam Andre.
30:58And Andre fell on top of Hogan for the one, two, and a half, and three quarters.
31:03That you just knew right then and there that Andre had just become champion.
31:07Oh, he comes out.
31:08One, two.
31:11Two count, oh.
31:12Was that two or was that three?
31:14Two count, oh, man.
31:15And it was just such a huge, like, how can Hulk beat Andre the Giant?
31:18You know, you kind of knew that he was going to win, but you didn't really know for sure.
31:20He's a tremendous champion, but he's facing a man who has never been beaten in 15 years.
31:27Hulk fighting with every ounce of courage in him.
31:30And the champion unloading with everything he's got.
31:34Oh, he dropped it.
31:35He dropped the big guy.
31:37That's the first time I think that the Giant's ever been knocked off his feet like that.
31:41Look at the look on the face of the champion.
31:44He's hulking up, Jess.
31:45I don't know if he's got enough left in him.
31:48That adrenaline can do wonders.
31:51Look at this.
31:52He's laughing.
31:53He's got it.
31:55I don't believe it.
31:57I don't believe it.
31:58Hulk dropping a big leg.
32:00Over from the cover.
32:02He's on it.
32:05Unbelievable.
32:05At WrestleMania III, Hulk Hogan and Hulkamania, that was the stamp.
32:12That was the day that Hulkamania became immortal in my eyes.
32:16I've never thought it could be done, Dorella.
32:20Neither did he's 93,000 plus.
32:23I've always believed that the business was much bigger than people ever gave it credit for.
32:28And it was a very, very proud day for anyone associated with the business in any way, shape, or form, whether you worked here or not.
32:36You had to be proud of that day for the business.
32:39If you got a competitive bone in your body and you didn't get goosebumps, you had no blood in you because it was just bone chilling.
32:46I think that made WrestleMania from that point on have to be just, not just bigger than the other pay-per-views, but just a lot bigger.
32:57I don't know any way to describe it.
32:59Up next, Big Show's ready for Hollywood.
33:10But is Hollywood ready for him?
33:12We may have to get him lower than a chair.
33:14Because I'm so tall, my head doesn't fit in the square to shoot it.
33:18It's a great honor to be involved with WrestleMania.
33:29It's something that every wrestler looks forward to.
33:32It's a chance to be able to go out there and say, I am one of the best at what I do.
33:37I remember my first WrestleMania, obviously, growing up as a kid, watching Hulk Hogan, Mr. T, Piper, Orndorff in the main event, and all the other great matches that went on that night.
33:51All the WrestleManias were memorable for me as a kid.
33:54The following contest is The Tables, Ladders, and Chairs 2!
34:01My favorite WrestleMania moment, it was at WrestleMania 17 when the Dudleys, the Hardys, and Edge and Christian competed in Tables, Ladders, and Chairs 2.
34:10Walking out into the Astrodome and just taking that extra five seconds to stop and smell the roses.
34:18Just to look out there and see 68,000 people, that, to me, was my favorite WrestleMania moment.
34:29Welcome back to Confidential.
34:31This portion of the program is brought to you by Stacker 2, the world's strongest fat burner.

34:46If the Hollywood stars can't make it to the action at WrestleMania, then the WWE superstars will bring the action to Hollywood.
34:55Squares, that is.
34:57The Big Show is no stranger to the bright lights of Tinseltown.
35:00As a matter of fact, Hollywood Squares executive producer, Henry Winkler,
35:05yes, that Henry Winkler, the Fonz from Happy Days, worked with the Big Show and the film, The Waterboy.
35:12Well, the Fonz knows talent when he sees it.
35:15So who better to join the all-star cast on Hollywood Squares on WrestleMania week than the largest man in all of sports or entertainment, The Big Show.
35:25Here we are, CBS Television Studios, we're filming Hollywood Squares.
35:37Can't beat that today, I hope I'm funny, I hope somebody picks my square.
35:41I'm just trying to fit in and keep my head in the square so everybody can see me.
35:45Oh, look, I'm in the middle.
35:46You're in the middle.
35:47Big Show.
35:48Is my head going to be able to be seen?
35:51I'm going to have to get him lower than a chair.
35:54Oh, let me see something here.
35:55Maybe we can work this scene.
35:56Try this.
35:57How's that look?
35:59Still tall.
36:00Because I'm so tall, my head doesn't fit in the square to shoot it.
36:04So instead of getting a nice, comfortable chair, I'm probably going to have to sit on, like, a box or something.
36:11Hey, they got great bagels, though.
36:12Definitely try to make the audience have a good time, the contestants have a good time, and even the guests in the squares have a good time.
36:19Big Show.
36:20How you doing?
36:20Is he pinching the box?
36:22Yeah.
36:24I can feel the top of his head on the bottom of my head.
36:28I had a great time with celebrities, you know.
36:29I think my biggest interaction was with Mama.
36:31Um, she put me in line.
36:34Someone please help me.
36:36There's nothing sunk over my ears.
36:38All right, get up.
36:40You better be nice to me.
36:42Yes, ma'am.
36:42I'm sorry.
36:43Oh, Lord, he weighs a lot.
36:46My highlight today was seeing Henry Winkler again.
36:48He's one of the biggest men I've ever met, I think, in my entire life.
36:51You know, we did a movie together.
36:53We did, um, Waterboy together.
36:56At the premiere of Waterboy, Henry Winkler was so nice to me and got me around the premiere
37:00and made sure all the press took pictures of me.
37:03And it just goes to show that he's why he's, you know, like, the nicest guy in Hollywood.
37:06So here he is on Hollywood Squares.
37:09And he was funny.
37:11He would, no one knew he could be that funny.
37:14It was just unbelievable.
37:15We're very happy he came.
37:17This is The Big Show.
37:18We're at 8 Squared.
37:19And we had a rockin' good time.
37:21So stay tuned.

37:52right here next week, the night before WrestleMania.

38:15It should be sensational.
