00:10Las Vegas, Nevada, a fatal shooting unfolded late Sunday night near the iconic Bellagio Fountains on the Las Vegas Strip,

00:16leaving at least one person dead and prompting a major police response.

00:20The incident, which was partially captured on a YouTube live stream,

00:23occurred in the 3600 block of South Las Vegas Boulevard shortly before 11 p.m. Pacific Time.

00:30According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, LVMPD,

00:34officers responded to reports of gunfire just outside the Bellagio and Paris Las Vegas hotels.

00:40Authorities have confirmed that the shooting did not take place inside a casino but have urged the public to avoid the area.

00:47Pedestrian and vehicle traffic around the scene was quickly restricted as officers established a perimeter.

00:54Social media footage and witness accounts suggest the shooting may have stemmed from an altercation between two men,

00:59both believed to be YouTubers.
