00:00Well, Jeff, we continue to track that storm that we've been following for the last several hours.
00:05You see it behind me, kind of the leading edge of this here, likely to pass to the south of Crowell,
00:10but we're going to start to see some of that rain and hail kind of pushed across the area.
00:14As I was rolling up here about 10 minutes ago, the city actually had the tornado sirens on,
00:18despite there not being a tornado warning officially in effect for this storm.
00:22This is a severe thunderstorm, though.
00:24We do have the potential for 70 to 80 mile per hour winds and baseball-sized hail.
00:29The good news, Crowell there just over my shoulder, likely going to be on the north side of this.
00:33I don't think we're going to see that particular impacts here in town,
00:36but you are certainly going to be dealing with some less than favorable weather here coming up not too long.
00:41This storm has lost some definition.
00:43We'll show you what this looked like about an hour and a half ago.
00:45This was just an impressive-looking storm for those that were kind of in the vicinity of this
00:50as it was working its way kind of through the Lakeview area.
00:53This would have been south of Clarendon.
00:54When it was at its peak, at the time it was tornadic, but it was producing 4 to 4.5-inch diameter hail.
01:01We saw reports of that coming in, but the storm certainly doesn't quite have that visual appearance now
01:06that it did when it was over those areas.
01:09We saw a lot of lightning, which has really been the common theme with this.
01:12Even as I'm standing here now, there's been lightning that has fired several miles east of where I'm at,
01:17so well ahead of the storm by a good 10, 15 miles.
01:20So we are seeing a lot of lightning with this well in advance of the storm.
01:25So if you are kind of in the path or in the general area, even if you're north of the storm,
01:30a lot of lightning coming out of the anvil, the leading cloud.
01:32So if you're looking up in the sky and you're like, oh, these clouds are kind of cool,
01:35you're probably in a threat for lightning.
01:37I'm kind of in that zone right now, but fortunately we're seeing most of that kind of pop off to my south.
01:42So I feel like I am safe at least for the time being out here certainly.
01:46So I don't recommend you standing out, but again, I wanted to kind of point that out
01:49because right now if you're watching this storm, you kind of see off in the distance there,
01:53just some of the raggedy clouds on the front end of this,
01:56that more of a disorganized shelf cloud than a wall cloud necessarily.
02:00They are concerned that there is a possibility we could see something spin up on the leading edge of this.
02:05Right now that does not look terribly likely, certainly not imminent from my point of view,
02:09as this storm again is likely to push to the south of town here as it works its way to the south and east.
02:15This line is continuing to develop down to the south, so we are seeing further development
02:19in what might be one of a couple of rounds of MCS as we're looking at here.
02:23Kind of that system, that dangerous line of storms that we're looking at is starting to develop from this point
02:28down to the south, but further to the northwest, up near Amarillo,
02:32we're seeing another cluster of storms getting organized there,
02:35and then you guys talk about the same storms in Oklahoma City,
02:37so several areas right now of concern for these destructive storms.
02:42We're going to continue to watch this particular system as it works off to the south and east here.
02:46The dogs are getting a little rough in the neighborhood here.
02:49They usually tend to know better than us humans,
02:52and then it's maybe time to take cover, so I'll toss it back to you guys,
02:55and I am going to take the dog's warning and head inside for a minute.
02:58Because I'm walking around to the south, so I'm at 14.
03:03I want to take up our lugar in force to spread the waters into böylece 和好
03:12and that only time to move on.
03:15But, again, we're going to ask for two more to see him.
03:17And I'm getting wind up and be 끝 four morebalanced in time.
03:19We're going to be on a front and we're going to just piece two more thick ready.
03:21And we're going to take a pairs of lines?
03:22And now the other two places don't be the same strategy here.
03:23You're going to take a couple more steps on that stuff there,
03:24and then and we're already there.
03:24And we're going to take a couple of 10 minutes here,
03:25and finally we're going to take a total different budget.
