00:00God, you look stupid.
00:01I didn't even think about me.
00:02Which is probably the only 98 minutes in the past 15 years.
00:06I think I would be a dragon that would be chasing after Nick's dragon
00:11because he wanted some Mark Bugs.
00:13What was it like, the two of you getting to spend time together doing this?
00:17I'm going to jump in. I'm going to say that...
00:18Can I just say...
00:20No, I'm joking.
00:22We're there to work, you know what I mean?
00:24Yes, it's a laugh, and yes, it's amazing because I'm speaking for you here,
00:28but we kind of love the job we do, so that's the fun.
00:31But in terms of getting work done, that's also the fun
00:34when you see it and you get a chance to be with Dean and Gerard
00:37and we're like, what are we going to do? How are we going to do this?
00:40And also the time, you know, a film of this scale gives you the time to just...
00:45Wow, it really opens up as I was talking.
00:49It gives you the time to work out what you're going to do,
00:51and it's lovely, it's a lovely way to work.
00:53I think he said it for me, I'm glad you jumped in.
00:55And you always have a laugh on set,
00:58and there's times when you kind of look around where you are
01:02and look at what you're wearing and you go, God, you look stupid.
01:05You know, and it's always a fine line between doing something really cool
01:09and it just being so ridiculous.
01:11But you take the job seriously.
01:13You've got to put a lot of work into it.
01:14So at the end of the day, you could have a laugh
01:18and then not do a great job on set.
01:20And ultimately, it's about pulling off a good performance and a good movie.
01:23But, yeah, there's a laugh to be had.
01:26Yeah, I know we spoke earlier about it just being a sigh of relief
01:29that you have done such a great job on this live action.
01:33Like it is...
01:33Well, that I've done a great job on this live action.
01:36Sorry.
01:37I knew he'd say that.
01:38I was there.
01:39And I'm very much a supporting actor in the role.
01:45You worked hard.
01:46Come on.
01:46You have a lot to contend with.
01:47Yeah.
01:48I mean, I don't...
01:49I mean, personally, I never get to a point where I'm like,
01:51oh, we did great.
01:52You know, it's always like that.
01:54Could I have done...
01:55What could I have done that's better?
01:56Or, you know, I don't think you ever get...
01:58I mean, coming out to these kind of things
01:59or the big print and you think, oh, people really like it.
02:02You know, that's enough, really.
02:03You know, something I'd say is sometimes you think
02:07you've done a good job in a movie,
02:09but maybe the movie doesn't live up to it.
02:11You know, or you're...
02:12Like, we're both perfectionists, I think.
02:14But when you do...
02:16When you're in a movie like this,
02:17you go, I'm pretty happy with what I did.
02:20But when the movie more than lives up to what you did
02:23and then you're kind of watching going,
02:25fuck Christ for the movie.
02:26Yeah.
02:27That's cool.
02:28I went to see it and I didn't really look at myself,
02:32which I usually would and I'd be critical,
02:34but I watched the whole thing.
02:35I was like, that was great.
02:37And I didn't even think about me.
02:39Well...
02:39Which is probably the only 98 minutes
02:41in the past 15 years.
02:43I did think about you earlier.
02:45Okay.
02:46Because earlier I asked you
02:48what kind of dragon you would be
02:50and you mentioned that you would have
02:51Mars bars in your talons.
02:53Yeah, I would.
02:54So I made sure...
02:55I did say to you the next time I interviewed you,
02:57I would bring Mars bars.
02:58You were meant to bring me an omelette.
03:00Thank you so much.
03:01Can we bring the omelette, Keith?
03:03It's been a dragon egg omelette.
03:05That would be okay.
03:06I've clearly been given very boring answers.
03:08Never have thought in a million years
03:09of Mars bars.
03:10So I didn't get to ask you
03:12if there was a Gerard Butler dragon,
03:16what would he be like?
03:18Well, he wouldn't have bloody Mars bars
03:19as fuck as that's what your answer goes.
03:22I don't know what kind of answer
03:23to give after that
03:24because clearly he's given
03:25a super brilliant answer about Mars bars.
03:28Oh, we were just wrecking earlier.
03:30Yeah.
03:31Yeah.
03:31It was love.
03:32I think I would be a dragon
03:34that would be chasing after Nick's dragon
03:37because he wanted some Mars bars.
03:40I love the fact you're eating this.
03:41I'm off sugar.
03:43I love it.
03:43But I feel like I didn't even eat that meal.
03:45I was like, no, I'm going to ask him.
03:48I'm glad you haven't got the facial hair
03:49that you had to deal with in the film.
03:53I'm still making up with it.
03:54That was a lie.
03:55The fact that I couldn't really eat much
03:56during that movie.
03:57Oh, were you struggling as well?
03:58It's a year later
03:58and I'm still making up for it.
04:00They were really good.
04:01Have you ever seen that?
04:02Have you ever seen Trading Places?
04:04Yes.
04:04There's that scene in the bus
04:06when Dan Aykroyd's pulling that smoked salmon
04:08through that beard.
04:09I don't remember that beard.
04:10That was what it felt like
04:11to have that beard
04:12and the moustache on.
04:14You were at lunch.
04:15It was awful.
04:15You were constantly pulling
04:16kind of polyurethane strands
04:19through your teeth.
04:19You guys did a great job
04:20of hiding all of this.
04:22You know what?
04:22I ended up getting all my food emulsified
04:25and then used a straw.
04:27Are you kidding?
04:28No, I really did
04:29because you couldn't get anything
04:32through the beard.
04:32It was like Chinese.
04:33What tasted the nicest
04:34out of all the emulsified food
04:36that you had?
04:36Mars bar.
04:38Emulsified Mars bar.
04:39Can you imagine eating a Mars bar?
04:41You guys did a great job.
04:44I'm glad that I could bring you some food
04:47because I think you're struggling.
04:49I have a thing with Mars bars
04:50where I need to have it
04:51with a cup of tea later.
04:53So before I go to bed
04:53I'll have a cup of tea
04:54and a Mars bar.
04:54I've done a whole advert
04:55for a Mars bar here,
04:56haven't I?
04:56It's okay.
04:57It was lovely to see you both.
04:59Great job on the film.
05:00I can't wait for the second one.
