00:00If you also want to look like a professional in your work with this, stay tuned and I'll explain how to do it.
00:05I select the range of cells where I want to insert the checkboxes.
00:08In the Insert tab, here I have the checkbox option.
00:12To change their color, simply select them in the Home tab.
00:16We have to change the color of the text to whatever we want.
00:20I'm going to make it green.
00:22All Microsoft 365 users have this checkbox option and if you use free Microsoft Excel Online, you also have it.
00:29I almost forgot, I'm going to send this template to my list subscribers on May 25th.
00:34You have the link to sign up in the video description.
00:37Don't ask me for it later because it won't be there anymore.
00:40Let's check that it works.
00:41And as you can see, every time I activate one of these checkboxes in the formula bar, the text is displayed as true.
00:48When it's deactivated, it shows false and if I activate it, it shows true.
00:52Where I want the progress bar, I'm going to insert the following function.
00:55Count points.
00:56I select the range of the first row, which is from B2 to F2, and the criterion will be true.
01:06I close the parenthesis, press enter, and I get a 2 because I have two active cells.
01:12To get the percentage, I go back to the formula bar.
01:16I write this bar to indicate that we are going to divide it by another function.
01:19I write count and select this range again.
01:25I close the parenthesis.
01:28I press enter and now I have a 04, I apply it to the remainder and display it as a percentage.
01:33I remove the decimals that I do not want to see.
01:38And now we are going to see how to display the bar.
01:41I select the entire range in conditional formatting.
01:44I select new rule.
01:46We are going to apply formatting by values.
01:49We want to apply a data bar.
01:50The type will be number, the lowest value will be 0, and the longest bar for numbers will be the number 1.
02:02Although we are displaying the value as a percentage, they are actually numbers and 100% will be a 1.
02:09Select the color you want to see the bar in, click accept, and there we have it.
02:13As we check the different boxes, we will see the progress that has been made.
02:21If you have managed to do it and are going to implement it to look better than anyone else,
02:26leave me this emoji in the comments and you know that if you want to be up to date with everything,
02:30sign up for my list because there I share things that you won't find anywhere else.
02:34See you in the next video.
