Garry Birtles feels that Ruben Amorim has got some things wrong in his early days of Manchester United spell
Transcript
00:00Oh, that's a difficult one because you look at the way he goes about things.
00:04You see, I'm a big believer in every player as an individual
00:08and everybody's metabolism is different to everybody else's.
00:12You know, what suits one player doesn't suit another.
00:14And, you know, the Marcus Rashford thing, you know,
00:17was one of those things where he mentioned that training wasn't good enough.
00:22I think the way, you know, Amarin may have gone around it is, for me, possibly wrong.
00:27Who am I to say that? Because I don't know him as a person.
00:30But you're looking, you know, from the outside as to what's going on.
00:34And I see the team I played with for two years that, you know, we ruled Europe.
00:40And they were all individuals, you know, they weren't the same physique,
00:44they weren't the same great trainers as each other.
00:47You know, so I think that's wrong, you know, putting everybody in a pigeonhole
00:51and saying, well, you know, he's doing fantastic.
