La dernière étape du Tour de Grande-Bretagne Femmes s’est conclue ce dimanche à Glasgow, et elle a tenu toutes ses promesses ! Si Lorena Wiebes (SD Worx-Protime), championne d’Europe en titre, s’est imposée avec autorité au sprint devant Charlotte Kool (Picnic PostNL), c’est bien le classement général qui a offert le plus grand suspense de la journée. Grâce à une gestion parfaite des bonifications, Ally Wollaston (FDJ-SUEZ) a arraché la victoire finale au nez et à la barbe de Cat Ferguson (Movistar Team), pourtant leader avant l'étape.
