Amie Provido waits

De La Salle University (DLSU) middle-blocker Amie Provido did not make the cut for the 2025 Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Nations Cup in Vietnam — but she had a positive way of viewing things as she waits patiently for her turn.

The Alas women’s seek to finish at the podium once more, starting with a dominating win against Mongolia last Saturday, June 7.

For Provido, the opportunity to train along with the country’s best players is already a big achievement for her.
