00:00I found the absolute laziest way to start a YouTube channel.
00:03You don't need to shoot any videos, you don't even need to shell out for expensive AI tools
00:08to create content.
00:10All you need to do is copy and paste from other apps, and you'll have your own short
00:13video ready in minutes, with zero worries about copyright issues.
00:18Let me introduce you to a new niche I recently discovered.
00:21This channel has only posted 85 shorts, but has already racked up 1.56 million subscribers.
00:28It's mind-blowing, and their earnings?
00:30Prepare to be stunned!
00:31They're pulling in tens of thousands of dollars every month.
00:34They dropped their first short video in January, and it scored 2.4 million views.
00:40Since then, every video they've posted has garnered hundreds of thousands, if not millions,
00:45of views.
00:46So, if you start now, you might still be in time to ride this wave.
00:51Let's check out the content.
00:52Put a finger down if you have money in your wallet.
00:56Put a finger down, Rich Edition.
00:58If you put over five fingers down, you are super rich.
01:02Put a finger down if you have food in your fridge.
01:07Put a finger down if you have clothes on your body.
01:12It's a mashup of satisfying videos paired with engaging voiceovers that really pull viewers
01:16in.
01:17The secret to success with these videos is making the audience feel involved, which
01:21boosts watch time and completion rates, naturally leading to higher view counts.
01:26This is similar to the cartoon quiz videos I shared before, which you can check out if
01:30you're interested.
01:31So, here's the takeaway.
01:33The key to these videos is the voiceover.
01:35The visuals?
01:36Not so critical.
01:37We can totally copy and paste from other apps without any copyright worries.
01:41I'll explain why in a bit.
01:43Let's dive right in.
01:44Step 1.
01:45Rewrite the script.
01:46Yes, you don't need to come up with original ideas.
01:50Just mimic what's already out there.
01:52This step is super easy, and you can hand it off to ChatGPT.
01:56But first, you need to grab the original video's script.
02:00Head over to Google and search for YouTube video transcript.
02:03Pick any service from the results, paste the URL of the video you want into the provided
02:07field, and hit the button.
02:09Voila.
02:10Create the original script.
02:11Now, click copy and paste it into a document.
02:14You'll notice the format is all over the place.
02:17Spend a minute cleaning it up, turn those fragments into complete sentences, and add proper punctuation.
02:23Easy right?
02:24Next, go to ChatGPT.
02:26Tell it, please help me rewrite the script below, making sure that the format of each sentence
02:31is the same as the original, but the content is different.
02:35ChatGPT will quickly churn out a rewritten script.
02:38If you're not thrilled with the result, just ask, please write three more scripts of the
02:42same type for me.
02:44This way, you can pick the one you like best, and it reduces the risk of your content being
02:49too similar to someone else's, which could lead to demonetization.
02:52Alright, now you've got your very own script.
02:55Step 2.
02:56Turning your script into a voiceover.
02:58This step is just as easy.
03:00You can use Eleven Labs, which I think is the best text-to-speech tool out there right
03:04now.
03:05Log in to your account, and you'll be able to choose a voice you like.
03:09You can go to the Voice tab, then My Voices or Library, where you'll find plenty of options.
03:17I picked Adam.
03:19Click Use Voice, paste your script here, and I recommend generating the speech one sentence
03:24at a time to make editing easier later on.
03:27Hit Generate Speech.
03:28Give it a listen.
03:29Put a finger down if you have a favorite place to visit.
03:32It sounds just like the original video.
03:34Then click here to download it.
03:37Step 3.
03:38You need to copy some satisfying video clips from other apps.
03:41For this step, I recommend using a VPN to access major Chinese video sites and apps.
03:47Why China?
03:48Because all the major sites you know are blocked there, meaning 99% of mainland Chinese citizens
03:53can't access foreign websites and apps.
03:56So if you copy and paste their videos to YouTube, you can minimize copyright risks.
04:00Now, let me show you how to do this.
04:03Here are some of the most popular video sites in China.
04:06Let's take Xiao Hongshu, Little Red Book, as an example.
04:10You'll find lots of different types of satisfying videos here.
04:13This number indicates the video's likes, so try to choose videos with fewer likes to download.
04:18Also, download videos from multiple accounts, and avoid any clips with brand watermarks.
04:24By splicing together different clips, you can better avoid copyright problems.
04:28Once you find a video, click the share button in the bottom right corner to copy the video's
04:33URL.
04:34Then, search Google for Xiao Hongshu Video Downloader.
04:38Pick any service, paste the video URL, click save video, and you can download the high quality,
04:44watermark free video.
04:46The final step is editing, and we'll use CapCut for this.
04:49Even if you have zero editing experience, don't worry.
04:53Just follow my steps, and I'll slow things down so you can see everything clearly.
04:57First, import your prepared voiceover and video clips.
05:01Let's start with the audio.
05:03Drag the first sentence to the timeline, then click audio, sound effects, and search for
05:08timer.
05:09Choose a suitable sound effect, and place it right after the sentence, adjusting its duration
05:14to about one second.
05:16Next, search for ding, pick a sound effect, place it after the timer, and adjust the duration.
05:26Here's how it should sound.
05:28Put a finger down if you have a favorite place to visit.
05:33Repeat these steps for the rest of the sentences, ensuring each question has a timer and a ding
05:38sound effect afterward.
05:44Once that's done, click sound effect, then transition, and choose whoosh for your transition
05:50sound effect.
05:51Place it at the beginning of each question.
05:53That's it for the audio.
05:55Easy right?
05:58Now let's handle the visuals.
06:01Drag one of your video clips to the timeline.
06:04Select this clip, right click, and choose extract audio to remove the original audio.
06:08You'll see this clip has two scenes, but we only want one.
06:13Click split at the appropriate spot to divide it, then delete the unwanted part.
06:18Next, click speed, and adjust the clip's speed to match the length of the audio.
06:24That's all there is to it.
06:26I've already used the same method to place the other video clips on the timeline, ensuring
06:31each question has a different visual.
06:33Finally, let's add captions.
06:36Click captions, then auto captions, and hit generate.
06:41In a moment, your captions will be ready.
06:43Pick a template you like, adjust the size and position of the captions, then click text
06:50to add a text box.
06:52Write the question number.
06:54Adjust its position, size, font, and style.
07:05Add some animation effects by clicking animation, selecting an entry effect you like, and adjusting
07:10the duration.
07:12Then click out to set an exit animation and its duration.
07:16Copy and paste this text box above each question, changing the question number each time.
07:21Editing may require some patience, but I believe you can handle it.
07:25Now, let's watch the final product.
07:27If you found this video helpful, don't forget to like or subscribe.
07:31I hope you achieve great success on YouTube.
07:33See you next time.
