00:04:03In the wake of an outsider capturing our TNA World Championship.
00:04:07The very first episode of Impact that followed WWE Battleground.
00:04:12It was this man, Bulletproof Steve Macklin, who stepped up and showed the world what a true TNA Champion looks like.
00:04:21Successfully defending the championship against Matt Cardona,
00:04:25who ironically will be a part of the match between Santino Lorella and Robert Stone later on tonight
00:04:31as our special guest referee to determine TNA's director of authority.
00:04:36Tonight, we fight for TNA's soul.
00:04:39Let's take a look at the headlines.
00:04:41Now, both Macklin and Warner were in the inaugural TNA International Title Tournament.
00:04:45Macklin became the first champion crowned at Unbreakable.
00:04:49Warner competed for an international title shot three weeks ago in a four-way matchup.
00:04:54And as Steph DeLanders said on the countdown to against all odds, they want more gold added to their resume.
00:05:02And we know just how dangerous the southern cycle can be.
00:05:07I mean, we're looking at two guys here who are not afraid to get down, dirty, and very bloody if necessary.
00:05:14And what a way to begin the evening.
00:05:17Two absolute brawlers ready to go at it for the TNA International Championship.
00:05:22And as I said, that episode of Impact following Battleground, that was a statement made by Steve Macklin
00:05:28because our current TNA World Champion is NXT's Trick Williams.
00:05:33Couldn't even be bothered to show up live on that episode of Impact or last night's episode of Impact.
00:05:39Hell, he showed up late in the countdown to against all odds.
00:05:43Our current champion, as weird as it might seem to say that about NXT's Trick Williams,
00:05:50obviously operating on his own schedule.
00:05:53Warner out of the corner trying to light up the chest of Macklin.
00:05:56Who do you give the edge to in this sort of match?
00:05:59I mean, I give the edge to their elbows and their fists.
00:06:02I mean, again, you said it.
00:06:04These are two nasty hard-hitting brawlers who are going to push each other to every limit.
00:06:09The psycho new there by Macklin.
00:06:13Macklin proved his medal in the International Championship Tournament.
00:06:18And now it's Macklin, a scud delivered to Warner.
00:06:22Macklin would go on to defend successfully at Rebellion against Eric Young,
00:06:27then once again against EY in a bloody dog-collar match that led to a minor skull fracture.
00:06:34The scar is on the forehead of Steve Macklin.
00:06:38That's what Matt Cardona went after during their title bout a few weeks ago.
00:06:42Macklin proven his medal as he always does.

00:07:20representing his fellow men in arms.
00:07:27And Macklin looking extremely confident here in the early goings of this TNA International Championship matchup.
00:07:34He's reigned his champion now for 50 days.
00:07:37A former TNA World Champion as well is Macklin.

00:10:14I mean, it was Mance Warner and Seth DeLander who were literally standing by
00:10:18watching that brutal, brutal dog collar match with Eric Young a couple of weeks ago.
00:10:24And they were just foaming at the mouth, essentially, at the opportunity that's in front of them now.
00:10:31And now Warner, oh, nearly got caught in the cross here.
00:10:34He's able to avoid DeLander in Macklin's face.
00:10:37Look out, look out!
00:10:39Oh, and Warner connected with the boot.
00:10:43Just enough of a distraction there, and boom!
00:10:46Charging at Macklin, connecting with a neckbreaker on the outside.

00:11:04I know that Warner can thrive in extreme environments, no disqualification environments,

00:16:30Also, after this past Tuesday night on NXT, where First Class screwed Mike Santana out of the TNA World Championship against Rick Williams,
00:16:38Francis and Navarro have invited Santana to join them on the First Class Penthouse.
00:16:43However, I'm being told Mike Santana has not yet arrived at the building.
00:16:47And are there splinters forming within Order 4?
00:16:51After putting his hands on Tasha Steeles, Mustafa Ali will go one-on-one with Jason Hotch.
00:16:57For the first time since losing the TNA World Championship at WWE Battleground, Joe Hendry is back and ready for action against perhaps his greatest TNA rival, Frankie Kazarian.
00:17:08And the TNA Knockouts World title will be on the line as Masha Slamovich defends against Leying Lee.
00:17:15Also, the Nemets defend the TNA World Tag Team titles against the Rascals.
00:17:20And the authority in TNA is on the line as the winner will officially be the TNA Director of Authority.

00:27:44Key to success is white pants and red masks. I'm very curious to see how this plays out over time. Because we will have a director of authority tomorrow. That's right. If it's Robert Stone, I don't think this is going to last very long. I'd be very curious to see how Santino Morello would handle this.
00:28:09The tag made. In comes the dominant X-Division champion, Moose. Moose wanted the tag very explicitly there from Eddie Edwards. And wait a second. Not again.

00:28:32And just like that, the hometown man is put into the hole, courtesy of the system. I respected the throwback Charles Barkley jersey. I thought that was pretty impressive.
00:28:46Can you imagine how ticked off Eddie Edwards is? Eddie Edwards didn't even want to be in that match with the underseas. He took it personally, but the match got made.
00:29:00And now, the hometown man is fighting out of the corner, trying to get to the Hardys.

00:29:08And now, the charismatic enigma himself, Jeff Hardy, turning this match upside down.

01:01:11It was an unprecedented contest, and Trick Williams took control of the matchup.
01:01:18Mike Santana though, valiantly fighting on behalf of TNA, defending TNA, trying to bring that title back home, but by a fingertip, Trick Williams saved.
01:01:30Well, it was later on in the bout, Trick Williams got into it at ringside with Elijah smashing up his guitar.
01:01:36Elijah jumped into the ringside area, the referee went to check on that.
01:01:39Look at the bottom right corner of your screen.
01:01:41There's KC Navarro, there's AJ Francis, first class attacking Mike Santana.
