People have been gathering in Keel Square for the city's annual Food and Drink Festival.

00:00I've come down to the annual food festival here in Sunderland, Keele Square.

00:05Fortunately the wet weather hasn't yet materialised, let's go and see what the food festival has to offer.

00:11As you can see there's a wide range of food and offer.

00:14Here you've got Taste of America with various forms of chicken and hot dogs.

00:19You've obviously got the customary beer bar there.

00:22There's also a children's activity centre over there, the kids to be entertained as well.

00:27You've got nice curries, you've got noodle dishes, you've got a grill down at the bottom there.

00:33There's also Mexican food on offer.

00:35As you can see we've got live entertainment about to come on.

00:38And most importantly you've got a lot of people milling around the middle here, enjoying their food and drink.
