00:01If motorcycle racing was not at all dangerous,
00:04most of them would not do it.
00:07They are called road racers,
00:10men who race motorcycles on ordinary country roads.
00:14The stone walls, the curbs, the telegraph poles,
00:17what the writers call the furniture,
00:19those things cannot be removed.
00:24For some, like brothers Michael and William Dunlop,
00:27it is a way of life passed on to them
00:30by their father Robert and his brother Joey,
00:33two of the world's most successful road racers.
00:37For a road racer, danger is ever present,
00:40death just a split second away.
00:43Came over the loudspeaker.
00:45He's had an accident.
00:46I remember just holding his hand.
00:50Look at Dunlop now on the inside.
00:51I thought McGinnis might be going for Elkin.
00:53Thousands of people were sat on that motorbike with Michael,
00:56urging him to win.
00:57It's a part of what's going on.
00:59You can feel the heat of the engine, the noise.
01:01If you think about what it's like to watch it,
01:03what the hell was it like to be sitting on the thing?
01:08It looks insane, but when you're on the bat,
01:10you're feeling control.
01:11Again, but that was fantastic,
01:13and Michael Dunlop means business.
01:17The challenge of facing up to danger
01:19and overcoming it that attracts them.
01:25Unbelievable.
01:26Absolutely unbelievable.
01:28There are going to be tears, tears of joy.
01:31This is the story of two sets of brothers.
01:44Two generations of one family.
01:48United by success.
01:50United by loss.
01:53United by the road itself.
