00:00More news around the National Football League as we get ready for minicamp next week around the NFL.

00:06And Donnie, it's not good in Indianapolis.

00:08Anthony Richardson not going to participate next week dealing with a shoulder injury.

00:14Of course, that is concerning for a quarterback now entering his third year

00:18with plenty to prove that he can be a starting quarterback.

00:22Heck, even a backup quarterback, but certainly the face of the franchise in Indianapolis.

00:26And when it comes to the shoulder DRS, equally concerning because he only played four games in his rookie season

00:33before shoulder surgery ended that rookie campaign rather quickly.

00:38And also understand this from the maturation process, which he's not a rookie anymore.

00:42He's been around the block, but where do you get better most of the time?

00:45Ask any professional athlete or any collegiate athlete or high school athlete.

00:48Once the season is over, this is where I'm going to put in my work.

00:51This is where I'm going to work on my skill set here.

00:53This is where I'm going to get involved with my wide receivers on timing routes.

00:56So by the time we do get to training camp and the regular season, I'll be ready to perform.

01:00You lose that once again.

01:01Like if we're talking about just resting this guy and they weren't even committed,

01:04like Shane Steichen was like, I can't even commit right now to when he's going to be available in training camp.

01:08So now Daniel Jones is going to get all those reps with those teammates front and center.

01:12And even Shane Steichen said, we're not adding a quarterback to the equation

01:15just in case he is injured even farther down the line.

01:18So it's two quarterbacks and one of those quarterbacks is a rookie.

01:20The other one, again, as I said, is Daniel Jones.

01:22So does Anthony Richardson just parachute in like late in training camp?

01:27I'm the starting quarterback.

01:28And understand this, this guy's always been injured, whether it's shoulder injuries, concussions,

01:32what have you, or just pulling himself out of football games.

01:35So now we're expecting him.

01:36We know he's a dominant runner, a bad shoulder.

01:39You know, he's still going to run the football, maybe chance damaging that shoulder even further

01:43once he gets even into the regular season.

01:44If he says he's healthy, this is disastrous.

01:47You needed this all season to show that organization.

01:50You can be the starting quarterback.

01:52Now you don't have it all season anymore.

01:54Not good.

01:55Not good at all, DRS.

01:57And yesterday on a great program, Football Full Circle, we were discussing the Saints

02:02and their outlook.

02:03Tyler Shuck is a minus 310 favorite to be that week one starting quarterback, courtesy of our

02:08Canadian friends at the FanDuel Sportsbook that have the odds for some of those quarterback

02:12battles we can anticipate throughout this summer.

02:15And I noted the price on Anthony Richardson at minus 255.

02:19And then the news came out a couple of minutes after that.

02:22The numbers started to dwindle on AR.

02:25Now he is no longer the favorite to be the starting quarterback week one for the Colts.

02:30That is Daniel Jones at a minus 166 price.

02:34Richardson's second best number, plus 126.

02:38Not a great scenario for Indianapolis.

02:42Terry McLaurin, DRS, is not very happy with his contract negotiation scenario entering the

02:48final year of his deal in Washington.

02:51He has let the team know, according to Jordan Schultz, that he's frustrated with a lack of

02:55progress on a long-term deal.

02:57Of course, the Commanders and McLaurin coming off a career year for everybody last season

03:03outside the nation's capital.

03:05Yeah, and they got to get this deal done sooner than later.

03:07The expectations of you have a very good young quarterback on a rookie deal.

03:11That means everybody gets paid and everybody on that team understands that as well.

03:15He's a good wide receiver.

03:17He's not a locker room disruption.

03:18He's in the last year of his contracts, not asking for anything extra early.

03:21He should get paid and he will get paid.
