00:13Well, I do agree. And I think we have to also understand that the 5 percent is actually made up of two parts.
00:203.5 percent is actually going to go towards weapons.
00:241.5 percent is infrastructure, strengthening bridges, you know, that kind of thing.
00:28So it's it's really it's not as big as it looks in terms of money going towards hardware and this hardware where the Europeans need to do more and are doing more.
00:40So, Jim, is it just a headline figure and something that will be quite difficult to achieve?
00:48Well, it's a headline figure for sure. It's a goal.
00:51And it was Donald Trump, I think, who threw that figure out, not a whole lot of science behind it.
00:57But but what's what's missing and we don't know what this will be yet.
01:01And that's the time frame. So how much time do nations have to reach that goal?
01:07And if it's going to be 10 years, then it's probably doable.
01:10But if it's going to be 10 years, that might not be that might be too long, not not in a time to handle an aggressive Russia five years from now.
01:19So we'll have to see what the time element is going to be.
