00:00My dad is, by the way, really happy because he's got two wives.
00:04And they're both happy too.
00:08And they both get along fine.
00:10Shadi Karke Phazia, which title is very apt for the film.
00:14I think 99% of the men say this, even if they're happily married.
00:18The only person who's allowed to expose in my movies is me.
00:21In our country where marriages are falling apart like nine pins or divorce,
00:24you mean, look at all the divorces are happening here.
00:27Women are becoming very modern in their thinking.
00:29And, you know, they're independent.
00:30And everyone says, you know what, it is the best thing, get married.
00:34And they go, yeah.
00:38Yeah, yeah, okay.
00:42A total Hindustani girl.
00:44And they get a beautiful daughter.
00:46They're Hindustani, but they're a lot of Western.
00:49And they're talking about small things.
00:51They're talking about their own.
00:52Sometimes they take their own mother's side.
00:54Sometimes they take their own mother's side.
00:56There's a lot of Western influence.
00:57Sometimes they take their own mother's side.
01:00And they have to show them that, yeah, this is your Western culture.
01:06They don't go here.
01:07This film is really, really close to my heart because it was one of the first films that I signed
01:14at a point when I was going through a very low phase in my career.
01:17I personally feel that I suck at comedy.
01:20But this is the only one thing that I should be doing for quite some time till all these
01:25problems flare out.
01:26I mean, as it is, we've got so much of poverty and so many problems in our lives.
01:30I mean, from what you've been seeing.
01:31So this is that two and a half hours that gives you just about all the fun.
01:35I got the opportunity to work with Bobby Kent, who's a fantastic producer, Adi Man, who's
01:41really great with his sensibilities.
01:43And I trusted him totally.
01:45I'm listening to a lot of chemistry.
01:46There are a lot of scenes in humor, in comedy, in romantic scenes.
01:51There are a lot of chemistry.
01:52I mean, there's so much chemistry that I give to school.
01:55The guy finds her extremely sweet before marriage, but all her thoughts are the same.
02:00You know, she hasn't changed as a person, but the guy suddenly feels that, you know,
02:04oh God, you know, I thought she would be the gharilu type, but she's not.
02:08And I don't have to like work on it because pretty much everything I do, I somewhere see
02:13a side of me doing that.
02:14So that's the reason why no negative roles here.
02:16All the movies like BV No. 1 and Musashadi Karo Giving, they're all basically that.
02:22There's a lot of comedy in marriage, I think.
02:24I think Salman is a huge star.
02:35The fact that this film of his is being released after a very long time and nobody has seen
02:40him in this avatar.
02:41And I think he will be really liked tremendously, even in this avatar because I think he's extremely
02:48cute in the film.
02:49And I'm not saying that with any bias, but I think he's performed his role really sweetly.
02:53I hope his pairing with me works.
02:55And everyone says, you know what, it is the best thing, get married.
02:59And then he goes, yeah.
03:03Yeah, yeah, okay.
03:06So thanks, buddy.
03:07My dad is, by the way, really happy because he's got two wives.
03:10And they're both happy too.
03:15And they both get along fine.
03:16Uh-huh.
03:17I think 99% of the men say this, even if they're happily married.
03:25I don't know why they say this.
03:26I don't know why they say this, but it's the best thing to do.
03:28And then our work is like this, that at the time, we don't have to buy any pictures.
03:32So I think that the other pictures are coming, they don't have to buy any pictures, they don't have to buy any pictures on the producer.
03:38And I think that it's a little dated picture.
03:40Now, when they've seen pictures, two years later, I think that it's a lot of pictures that they should release.
03:46I was very angry with you all, with the media, that you don't take your reporting seriously, don't do your homework seriously, and there are so many discrepancies in the reporting.
03:59I don't want to use this forum for personal matters to sort out, but I want to clear out once that it's really terrible for me as a woman.
04:12You know, you all are wasting my time, you all are wasting my money, you all are wasting, you know, my precious dignity.
04:18And I think there's someone who has to take a stand.
04:21And I'd really make a humble request to all of you all, that whenever you report, you all have to get your facts right.
04:27For what? For showing my navel?
04:34I mean, you know, you'll have to at least think about it.
04:37I'm not going and create it. I'm not going and kill somebody for crying out loud.
04:41I mean, if you have a family, you're putting so much stress through, I think after a point, you know, you just get fed up, you don't want to answer questions, you just want to say enough.
04:51Now let the court, you know, let law take its own course.
04:54And I'm glad that at last, the judge saw the photograph and he was like, there are more vulgar photographs outside the courtroom.
05:01That is very inconsiderate of me, by the way. So it's not a compliment for any of the Bombaikers, as you call them, or the Bombaikers or Bombaikers.
05:11So it's not complimentary. And then the next day, everyone's life goes on. But what about the people who affect it? And what about those people who have actually done it and watched TV and seen the effect and think that the mission is accomplished?
05:24I have all the cultures in my family. I have all the religions in my family. And I know a little bit about religion. And no matter where I've read, I've read the Koran, I've read the Gita, I've read books on the Buddhism, the Bible.
05:38There are a lot of people who know us, and their families affected. And it's very, very frightening. And I just can't thank God enough. And you also have to wake up and realize that life is so unpredictable. So I think it's important to savour every day.
05:57I mean, wives are waiting for their husbands to come home. Yet children, a man who's the breadwinner, what do they want to kill? It's just not right. It's not right for many.
06:13This is not going to solve any problems. This is just going to make them worse. Educate your children, then your grandchildren, and then your great-grandchildren. By the time your great-great-grandchildren come, you have achieved whatever you wanted to achieve.
06:25Politicians, they have a lot of work to do. So one individual has to take care of himself. I mean, just simple, just look around. You know, have your own security, as in the sense that if you see a bag, make sure it's out. You know, help one another. That's what it is.
06:43But I think it's amazing to see the Mumbai spirit.
06:46I want my audience to be from the great-grandchildren to the great-grandparents. I want them to be able to see each and every film together.
06:53When we were young, we used to watch Hollywood movies on video. And then when there used to be like a love-making scene,
07:01everyone used to look around and the parents would be awkward and they used to forward that.
07:07So that is something stuck in my mind. So I make sure that something like that does not happen.
07:12The only person who is allowed to expose in my movies is me.
07:15Aadiman has done another film. We are Sanam, which starred Madhuri and Salman and Shah Rukh.
07:25The only person who has done a lot of work. But when it was released, people have done a lot of good business in the box office.
07:36So I expect that this is not enough, but it will do more business with it.
07:42In our country where marriages are falling apart like nine pins or divorce, it means there are divorces that are all over there.
07:48I think the endurance level is reduced. And couples have, I think maybe because we belong to a very egalitarian world,
07:57women are becoming very modern in their thinking and they're independent.
08:00So when there's no awareness, when there's no publicity, people not know. Unless people really, really like the film
08:06and then there's mild publicity and then people go and watch the film, which is in the hands of.
08:11The situation is all in real life, but from the audience perspective, it will be a comedy.
08:18But the situation is so sad. And the Marital problems deals with this film.
08:30So it's not exactly a slapstick comedy. So that's where the film is different.
08:37In our picture, everything is in my movies, you have emotion, you have action, comedy, and plus there's a very Indian plot.
08:45You know, which is our culture, which is our culture, which is our culture, which is our culture, which is our culture.
08:50I believe that I do comedy well, at one point.
08:54I have a chance to make a decision that this picture is not a comedy film.
08:59It's not a comedy film. It's not a comedy film that we all know about, but it's not a comedy film.
09:04Our fights are quite situational. It's quite funny from the audience's point of view.
09:08Yeah, yeah, I wrote a film. But in this film, I have written another picture.
09:11I think it was called Chandramukhi.
09:14From that day, I realized that they never do right.
09:17There's Janiman, there's Marigold, there's Gautasigreto, there's Babu, and there's Salam Aishk. There's Partner. Six.
09:24Well, we haven't really shot any music videos, though that's the trend right now.
09:29But we did like the situational songs for the movie at that point of time and that was fun.
09:36There are some really amazing songs in the movie and they're all situational songs.
09:41So I really hope people, you know, hear the songs again and like it.
09:49Salman has always worked as a family member in this unit.
09:54I think that credit should go to Adiman and Babi Kent.
09:58We want people to change their views on marriage.
10:01So let's see.
10:04.
