Prabowo bersyukur atas kemenangan yang diraih timnas atas China. Ia optimistis pada laga tandang melawan Jepang, Indonesia dapat meraih hasil terbaik.
Peluang Indonesia lolos ke putaran keempat semakin terbuka lebar. Kepastian ini didapat setelah skuad Garuda mampu menaklukkan China lewat gol tunggal Ole Romeny di laga kandang pada Kamis (5/06).
Menjamu China di Stadion Gelora Bung Karno, Indonesia langsung tampil ngotot sejak awal laga. Tekanan skuad Garuda akhirnya berbuah hasil pada menit ke-40, setelah Riki Kambuaya dilanggar di kotak terlarang.
Wasit memberikan hadiah penalti setelah melihat tayangan VAR. Ole Romeny yang menjadi algojo berhasil mencetak gol bagi Indonesia. Kemenangan 10 ini membuka peluang Indonesia untuk lolos ke Kualifikasi Piala Dunia putaran keempat.
