Vor dem Hintergrund des Krieges in Argentinien der 1980er Jahre freunden sich die beiden Gefangenen Valentín und Molina im Gefängnis an. Valentín ist als politischer Gefangener und Freiheitskämpfer verhaftet worden, während Schaufensterdekorateur Molina wegen Erregung öffentlichen Ärgernis einsitzt. Um die Zeit erträglich zu machen, erträumt Molina das Hollywoodmusical Kiss of the Spider Woman mit seiner Lieblingsdiva Ingrid Luna in der Hauptrolle.
