The Princess Royal brought several charities together at a special Buckingham Palace forum on Thursday. 00:30First, I'd just like to make the point that we're very fortunate that His Majesty has allowed us to use Buckingham Palace for this event, and I need to say that, because in other aspects, I probably wouldn't.
00:56But it does help, and we're very grateful for this opportunity.
01:02But I'm also very grateful for our speakers today, for our chair, Professor Lynne Berry, and for their contribution in terms of broadening what we hope was a general interest to you, but also your response to that, which is equally important.
01:19And those sort of observations are critical to me.
01:24I mean, I see I'm grateful because you've come together as a group.
01:31Interestingly, if you like, I'm not here because this was my choice.
01:36You very kindly asked me to become patron of your organisations.
01:39So it's an honour for me to have all of you here as part of that.
