00:08Could I ask you, so I mean, based on this White House meeting, they have problems with some of the tax and tips, the overtime, SALT, IRA, and it does seem like you guys are farther apart than you would like to be, certainly than you would like to be.
00:26Things are not always what they seem, okay? There's very fruitful conversations going on between senators, between the senators in the White House, and between all of us, so I'm just as optimistic as I've been from the beginning.
00:37I'm convinced we're going to meet this deadline that we've stated to get at the president's desk by Independence Day, and there's a lot of work going on around the clock for that.
00:45I mean, I spoke to the president late last night about the latest developments. I called Leader Thune this morning and touched base with him as I always do, and yes, there's lots of different opinions,
00:55and ideas, and thoughts on the other side, just as there were here, but they have a truncated amount of time to work through that.
01:02We had a much longer period because we began to work a lot sooner, so we can all anticipate what the arguments are going to be, what the concerns are going to be,
01:10and hopefully, I think, anticipate where it'll land, so I think we're on track.

01:17I'm keeping them all calm, so, you know, it's, I think, look, the Senate Republicans are from red states, right?
01:23They feel the same way that I do about SALT, but I'm being very deliberate in reminding them that we have, again,
01:30this very delicate balance to maintain over here, and you've got to address the issue so that our members can take something home.
