00:00With Leeds United having released their retained list ahead of their Premier League campaign to come in August,
00:06in which they decided which players would remain at the club and who would be departing,
00:10head coach Daniel Farker has made clear just how that process went about in terms of deciding which players were worthy enough of staying at the club
00:20or being offered a new contract, or if they were to leave, why this was.
00:25Daniel Farker spoke about this before the final game of the season, which saw Leeds United crowned champions of the championship.
00:31We won't speak about individuals in terms of the future, it's more like we will take a decision then when it's really 100% clear
00:38in which league we will play, what budget we have and how our situation will look like.
00:44But it will happen pretty, pretty fast also, like right now we have clarity, right now it's also clear that we play in the Premier League,
00:50to be honest, the last two or three days after it was confirmed we were just celebrating
00:55and then we were already concentrating on the game on Monday and right now on the game on Saturday,
01:00so it's no rush because we have then more or less the whole May and also the whole June to speak about everything,
01:07but we'll do this also relatively, relatively quick.
01:11And Bradford City Academy graduate George Goodman has spoken about the first team experiences
01:16that he has already had at the club, which have been invaluable to him in developing him as a player.
01:22It's been really beneficial in terms of the experiences, learning off some of the players that are there already
01:27and trying to talk and build connections with them and learning.
01:32Obviously a lot of them have had very good careers and been able to take advice from them
01:36and learn bits about my position and sort of how they've done it
01:41and little things I can take from them and add to my game to improve myself.
01:46It's been beneficial.
01:47Obviously I had the experience playing in the pre-season game at Chorley,
01:51which was very good in terms of being around it,
01:54seeing the level like being around the players and building that trust and connections with them.
02:00I think it's been massively helpful.
02:02It's been great, you know, obviously in training, always going and asking questions,
02:07trying to learn, see the techniques they do and things that they've picked up from their career,
