00:00So here we're actually launching a big concrete structure to put into the water
00:07to basically create a three-dimensional habitat for a range of different species
00:11to start to hopefully colonise in this area that's just recently been protected over the last four
00:17years. We need to put this in because the tallest through this area of the years they've knocked down
00:21every little edge anything they've ripped the bottom of pieces they take the crust away actually
00:28and and we need to put something back. And these habitats that we've made are just mainly for
00:34lobsters and for the wheat to grow on and try and get the kelp back. The inshore trawling band has
00:41helped in certain areas and it is trying just to give nature a start. So the commercial dive team
00:48here will be kind of lifting the structure dropping it in the water the commercial dive team will be
00:54in the water making sure everything's in place. Put the top of the hotel onto the base and that now
01:01leaves a three and a half tonne block in situ ready to go for marine life to move in. And then we're
01:11going to have an additional concrete block dropped in just off of the reef so that anyone who comes to
01:17visit any of the divers or free divers that come to this area they could take video footage or film
01:23or camera and record what's actually there. So we've got change over time it's really really good.
01:28Coming back in a week I would want to see a couple of days starting to appear on it but if I came back in
01:34a year that would be part of the sea. We'd be part of the sea we'd be stuck living on it.
01:38It would just be well we'll see we'll see we'll do a very good report and see what happens.
01:43It's definitely something that's a real positive and I'm hoping that we'll get a few more of these
01:47out here so that we get some of these some of these really good structures so that people can come
01:52here visit and kind of see what our marine seas actually hold and it's a huge amount of life.
01:59I'm feeling related actually, I'm related. That's the first thing to go back in the sea in Sussex.
