00:00To have 1,800 people in North East Yorkshire is incredible.
00:06It's a little surreal.
00:08We are in the town and we have characters from the town
00:11and characters from the city of the city,
00:13and people who are welcome.
00:15But not on time, the vibe is really positive.
00:18Everyone has been told, there is a festival,
00:21there's a little more, what is it?
00:22It's rock music, it's good, it's good.
00:25Sometimes there are risks,
00:27but sometimes there are risks,
00:29but it seems to me that Scarborough welcomes this with weapons.
00:32When we arrive at the festival,
00:34we were all taken by his.
00:37Scarborough is a very beautiful place.
00:41Coming to Scarborough Spa is very beautiful too.
00:45It's not a very typical place to have a festival,
00:48which makes it even cooler.
00:52Even though it's super serious, black metal,
00:55and everyone is super evil and everyone,
00:58everyone is really nice.
01:01Everyone is really nice.
01:03Everyone is just human,
01:05and everyone is very nice.
01:08He just wants to have a good show.
01:09He just wants to have a good show.
01:10Everyone just wants the same place.
01:12Everyone just wants the show to go well.
01:15So, yeah, it's really good.
01:17You know, it's really good.
01:18You know, everyone relaxed.
01:19There is plenty of space.
01:20You can go above the air if you want.
01:22You know, it's just a really interesting,
01:25relaxed and positive vibe.
01:28There are preconceptions about this kind of people
01:31are into this kind of music,
01:32and a little prejudice,
01:34also, around the stage.
01:35But I think they are very surprised.
01:38to hear that, for example,
01:40I just sat, a few minutes ago,
01:42who said that part of my music
01:43is that I want to make light
01:44in the world.
01:45It's what you don't think
01:47if you hear that it's a project of the black-metal adjacent.
01:50So, yeah, I think it really is
01:52a more diverse genre,
01:54a more diverse genre
01:56that people who are not familiar with
01:57and who can give credit for being.
01:59I think the thing that makes Fortress
02:01so special,
02:02is that each person who was waiting
02:04the festival, no doubt,
02:06because everyone is so in love.
02:09And it's just really celebratory.
02:14The whole thing is very positive,
02:15and I know that's another thing
02:16to say, it's one thing to say
02:17a style that is routed
02:18in aggression and anger
02:19and hope,
02:20but it is the appropriate place
02:22for Chanel that.
02:23You see, you see,
02:24in a room,
02:25abduction,
02:26screaming,
02:27misanthropic,
02:28nihilism,
02:29for 15 minutes,
02:30and you channel all that,
02:31and you think,
02:32it's a little better.
02:33It's a very cathartic
02:34and positive experience.
02:35I was in particular,
02:37the highlights
02:38to see Blasphemer
02:41in Ruin,
02:44and then,
02:45they were playing
02:46Thy Labyrinth
02:47with Raven
02:48on vocals,
02:49It was incredible.
02:50and then,
02:51After,
02:52see 1349,
02:53it's like,
02:54I remember
02:55to have listened
02:56at 1349,
02:5820 years old,
02:59who think,
03:01this band
03:02is incredible.
03:03And now,
03:05I said to myself,
03:07that's the thing
03:08the most incredible
03:09that I have seen in my life.
03:10It's just
03:12who came
03:13so far away.
03:15And this festival,
03:16it is also,
03:17see how
03:18It's good,
03:19and see
03:21each person
03:22who is in the building,
03:24love bands,
03:26and be part
03:28of the process
03:29to do this,
03:30even if it's just
03:31a small part,
03:32it really is,
03:33Really,
03:34Really,
03:35Really,
03:36awakening.
03:37I said to myself,
03:38I saw a couple
03:39of songs
03:40by Reem,
03:41who are friends
03:42and music
03:43is really,
03:44really cool.
03:45I said to myself,
03:46I said to myself,
03:47I said to myself,
03:48it is absolutely
03:49amazing.
03:50It is not
03:51a project
03:52which is not
03:53a project
03:54which is not
03:55of the mind,
03:56of the mind,
03:57of the mind,
03:58of the mind,
03:59of the mind.
04:00Yes,
04:01that's what they say,
04:02this is the only gig
04:03that the agglomerate
04:04to play in Europe
04:05year-round.
04:06If it is not
04:07of the rule
04:08of the rule
04:09of the rule
04:10of the rule
04:11of the rule
04:12of the rule
04:13of the rule
04:14of the rule
04:15of the rule
04:16and it's very,
04:17very special.
04:18And,
04:19I said to myself
04:20at 20 or 25 years old
04:21year-round,
04:22to the rule
04:236 or 7
04:24aggressive
04:25or not interesting
04:26characters
04:27in the audience
04:28and say,
04:29It's a disaster.
04:30The idea
04:31of that
04:32of the rule
04:33of the rule
04:34and the rule
04:35is incredible.
04:36That's cool.
04:37It's a little
04:38of the rule
04:39of the rule
04:40of the rule
04:41of the rule
04:42of the rule
