00:00I consent to address the House for one minute and to revise and extend my remarks.
00:04Without objection, the gentleman is recognized for one minute.
00:09What do you call it when the world's wealthiest man, leading some of the most innovative companies in history,
00:16offers his unmatched genius to save American taxpayers billions?
00:21You call it a blessing, Mr. Speaker.
00:23And I rise today to urge my colleagues to not let this opportunity slip through our fingers.
00:30For five months, Elon Musk and the Doge team have toiled relentlessly, far outpacing this Congress,
00:37to deliver bold results for the hardworking Americans back home.
00:41They have crushed Social Security fraud, exposed wasteful government agencies, and stopped USAID's disturbing pet projects.
00:49But these efforts are meaningless if we as Congress fail to codify these reforms into law.
00:56No excuses.
00:58No delays.
00:59We must vote on the Doge cuts this week.
01:02Republicans have abundantly praised Doge efforts.
01:06Americans aren't expecting it.
01:08But now is the time to stop talking and start acting.
01:13Mr. Speaker, I yield back my time.
01:16For what purpose does the gentleman from Indiana seek recognition?
01:19Mr. Speaker, I ask unanimous consent to address the House for one.
