00:30Pianificazione energetica e impatto industriale misurabile.
00:33At Kuwait Petroleum International, we do work closely with our mother company, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation,
00:39to help keep the energy supply stable across the Mediterranean region.
00:43And while pushing forward with our global sustainability goals,
00:48you know, we're focused on using our new technologies and smart decarbonization strategies
00:53to deliver reliable energy that meets today's needs without losing sight of our responsibilities of the future.
00:59We're trying to make sure that everyone is included, which is really important for the energy transition to work.
01:04It's going to be very exclusive.
01:06As we move towards cleaner energy, it's critical and crucial to help workers learn new skills
01:11and develop, you know, and adapt.
01:14So that's why we're training and development are being a big focus for us
01:18to keep all the jobs secure and support the industry and to get our people ready for the future.
01:23The way we look at it is, in order to align with industry 5.0 principles,
01:31the whole infrastructure of the industry has to be redesigned.
01:34We have to rethink of the whole system in a way to make it much more flexible,
01:40designed in a more sustainable way, and to be digitally integrated.
01:44This includes developing smarter refineries, the way we look at it from the energy point of view,
01:50adaptable to supply chains with greener energy grids.
01:54The system must be capable to withstand any disruption while promoting a circular economy
02:00for the way we do our practices.
02:03Such a transformation supports both environmental aspects and also the long-term operational resilience.
02:10And contrary to the way we look at it, and this is maybe a misperception by a lot of people
02:16that the development with artificial intelligence will lead to losing jobs,
02:22the whole system must be looked at it from a different angle.
02:27Today we are looking at our people, the human factor within the whole equation,
02:31in a way how we can reskill the people, how we can upskill certain resources
02:37in order to meet the demand in the world today.
02:40Things are changing, and we need to promote those types of training facilities for the people
02:47in order to be able to emerge within the changes that we're seeing today in the world.
02:52The aim is to improve and to promote inclusive growth,
02:56essential to ensure that this transition is not only technological advancement,
03:01but also socially equitable, offering the people with the defined and stable employment opportunities.
