So we started looking for a site up here around 2015.
00:05
It's been a very interesting and exciting journey to this point in that we found and
00:10
saw multiple sites that weren't suitable until this one became available which is 182 Brisbane
00:15
Street.
00:16
It was once upon a time an old tyre shop and then a red herring and then it moved into
00:21
a pizza heart and pizza capers and finally Nando's.
00:26
The building itself lends itself to having upstairs downstairs seating which is unique
00:32
to Nando's.
00:33
There's only one other restaurant in Australia that has upstairs and this will bring a whole
00:38
different dining experience for consumers coming in and I'm sure there's going to be a lot
00:44
of first date nights upstairs which is really good.
00:47
We'll bring out some candles, smooth them up a bit but it's going to be really exciting
00:51
to be able to get customers in and just experience the whole building.
00:55
That extra bit of detail I think goes a long way which is very unique to Nando's.
00:59
We are a restaurant, we're not a fast food business.
01:03
We're moving into that sort of really healthy option for our customers and getting people
01:08
in to try our great product and being innovative and unique to what we provide.
01:14
So that whole experience from when the customer walks in the door, whether it is date night
01:19
couples or people celebrating parties or birthdays to just having a meal after a sporting game,
01:26
we're here for them.
01:27
We're here for them.
01:28
We're here for them.
