A man in his 40s reportedly died after falling onto railway tracks and being struck by a train at Pusat Bandar Puchong Light Rail Transit (LRT) Station on Tuesday (June 3).

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director of operations Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the victim was found unconscious beneath the LRT tracks and believed to have died from the accident.

00:18said they received an emergency call at 6.05 p.m. and deployed a team from the Subang Jaya
00:24fire station to the scene. He said the victim was found unconscious beneath the LRT tracks
00:29and believed to have died from the accident. Authorities have not yet established the cause
00:35of the incident or identified the victim. Rapid KL have suspended operations at four stations,
00:42the Bandar Putri, Taman Perindustrian Puchong, Pusat Bandar Puchong and IOI Puchong Jaya.
00:48As an alternative, free shuttle bus services were activated between the Puchong Perdana station
00:53and Kinrara BK5 station. Both alternative transport services ended around 9 p.m. after rescue
01:01operations concluded. Rapid KL also said that train frequencies are currently being regulated
01:07and full operations are expected to resume soon.
