00:00As a kid, I used to be petrified of dogs. They would chase me, bite me, things were not that
00:10well. We had a very difficult relationship but 2025 is different. Dogs are much more obedient,
00:15they can be trained to do any tricks and the best part is they don't bite anymore. Since you've
00:21already seen our special guest on the show, we'll be talking more about this. A comparison of epic
00:25proportions, iOS versus Android, which one should you go for and a whole lot more tech. This is
00:31Cyrus and you're watching Tech Today. Okay, you did not tell me what kind of treats you like. I have
00:38two options right now. One is this, the other one is this. So these are both chips, I mean you can
00:44tell me which one you like. Till we finish our chips, you check out the tech headlines of the week.
00:49AI Ray-Ban glasses coming to India soon. Meta's artificial intelligence powered Ray-Ban smart
00:59glasses are set to launch in India. These next-gen wearables offer hands-free access to Meta AI,
01:06live translation across multiple languages, music control, messaging and more. Users can interact
01:13via voice commands, making calls and sending messages directly through the glasses. The rollout
01:19reflects Meta's push to enhance wearables and boost its AI presence globally. While the base
01:24models could be priced around 30,000 rupees, it is expected the premium version could reach more
01:29than one lakh. In the ongoing antitrust trial against Google, both OpenAI and Perplexity AI have
01:40expressed interest in acquiring the Chrome browser if the court mandates. OpenAI aims to integrate ChatGPT
01:47into Chrome for an AI-driven user experience. While Perplexity seeks to foster competitive
01:52fairness in the browser market, the Department of Justice proposes the sale of Chrome as a remedy to
01:57Google's alleged search monopoly. However, Perplexity AI CEO Aravind Srinivas believes that Chrome should
02:03remain under Google, emphasizing that no other entity could maintain the browser's quality and scale without
02:10compromising performance. Google has issued an urgent warning to its 1.8 billion Gmail users about a
02:24sophisticated phishing scam. Cyber criminals are sending deceptive emails that appear to originate
02:30from Google, exploiting the platform's own infrastructure to bypass security measures. Users are advised to be
02:37cautious of unsolicited emails requesting personal information even if they seem legitimate. For extra
02:43security, Gmail users are advised to add an extra layer of security to their accounts. Also add app-based
02:48authenticators over SMS for enhanced protection.
02:55HP has launched its next-gen AI PCs in India, powered by Intel, AMD and Qualcomm chip sets with dedicated
03:02processors for AI tasks, delivering up to 55 trillion operations per second. The new EliteBook, ProBook and
03:10Omnibook series offer AI-driven features like real-time noise cancellation, auto-framing and adaptive performance.
03:17The price starts at about Rs. 77,200, going up to Rs. 186,499 for the top-end Omnibook Ultra 14.
03:26With an on-device AI assistance, Polycamera Pro and enterprise-grade security, HP's Copilot Plus lineup is built
03:33for enhanced productivity.
03:40The OnePlus 13T has been officially launched in China, with the Indian version of the phone expected to be launched soon.
03:46The phone comes with a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
03:51It is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and the India version is expected to get Android 15 on top of Oxygen OS 15.
04:01The headline feature is the 6,260 mAh battery, which will support 80W fast charging.
04:07The rear houses a 50MP primary camera with a 50MP telephoto sensor for your photography needs.
04:14The front comes with a 32MP camera, which can be activated using the new action button that has been added to this phone.
04:22It works similarly to the action button on the latest iPhones.
04:26Stay tuned to Tech Today, as we will get you more details about the India launch of this device.
04:31You know, I think it's fantastic that we have people to do our work, especially when we are lazy.
04:48Like right now, I have Tracker getting me coffee, and this is exactly why we are building robots, right?
04:55To do all of the heavy lifting, to do the work that we don't want to do, but Tracker here has been made for a special purpose.
05:02What is it? Let me show you.
05:06It's fantastic, thanks.
05:12Meet Tracker, the made-in-India pioneering assistive dog robot.
05:17At 18kg, this quadruped is designed to navigate challenging terrains, assist in industrial inspections, and support defense operations.
05:27Equipped with 12 actuators, stereo cameras, and optional sensors, like 3D LiDAR and thermal imaging,
05:35Tracker embodies the ambition of Indian robotics to create versatile and autonomous machines.
05:42Robots like Tracker can be used to navigate hard-to-inspect or hazardous areas, collect data through their sensors,
05:51and even patrol areas, anonymously, to detect real-time anomalies.
06:03While Tracker supports a payload of 5kg, the company is also working on payloads ranging between 20-50kg.
06:10However, innovation is a journey.
06:13While Tracker showcases impressive capabilities, it's still in its developmental stage, with a lot of room for refinement, instability, and autonomy.
06:24Now, I have been told that Tracker here is a bit of a Sherlock Holmes.
06:28He always catches his target.
06:30So, what I'm going to do is go to the basement, hide, and let's see where the Tracker can find me,
06:35because I'm not going to make it easy for him.
06:40He always has a lot of room for friends and a lot of room for him.
06:42He always tries to dedicate his house to the block.
06:43He always touches me, because there's a lot of room for a long time,
06:44and I just have to make it easy for him to be.
06:45This is what he's going to do.
06:46He always throws his handbands.
06:47The Tracker has a lot of room for him to come,
06:48and he's having a lot of room for him.
06:49He puts his hand fists in an apartment,
06:51so he actually throws his handguns on the car.
06:52If he lets you go to work in a place like this,
06:54I know he doesn't make it easy for a man to get the robe on wearing.
06:55When he is a lady's coat on the white suit,
06:56he's a woman, I know he's a man in a clothing store,
06:58so he turns around.
06:59Trying to hide in the basement for the past couple of minutes, the tractor hasn't been
07:26able to find me yet, but I think with the kind of sensors it has, with the kind of tech
07:30it has, it will find me soon.
07:32I am trying my best, see exactly, it found me.
07:36Okay, fine, you found me, stop, congratulations.
07:40So tough hiding from this one.
07:43In our hide and seek test, trackers, sensors and AI attempted to locate me in a dark corner.
07:53Apart from thermal imaging sensors, which can be attached to the robot, it also leverages
07:58its depth sensing capabilities to locate targets.
08:07Despite its advanced perception systems, robots like Tracker may struggle occasionally, highlighting
08:13the complexities of real-world navigation.
08:16Plus, I am making this search a bit challenging.
08:20Most of the sensors and the CPU on Tracker have been imported, while a majority of the
08:25hardware has been made in India.
08:29During our experience, we felt that there is a need for development in sensor integration
08:34and environmental adaptability.
08:36While Tracker has autonomous capabilities, during our experience, it was controlled using
08:41an application and also needed Wi-Fi connectivity for navigation.
08:46This is a reminder that while the foundation is solid, fine-tuning is essential for reliable
08:51performance in dynamic settings.
08:53Okay, I confess, I did not know I was going to be a part of a dance-off because they didn't
08:59tell me that the dog can dance.
09:01I am terrible at dancing, the best steps I know as.
09:04But here's the thing, this dog is intuitive.
09:06It can learn.
09:07So, while I try to teach some of my dance steps to Tracker here, why don't you check out what
09:13other things it can do.
09:19These dance moves demo the range of motion and control Tracker has.
09:22Yet, during the demo, we observed moments of imbalance and hesitation indicating areas
09:29where mechanical precision and software optimization could be enhanced.
09:34It comes with almost 90 minutes of backup and if the battery runs out, you can easily swap it.
09:41Though Tracker has an IP54 water resistance rating, the company said rain may damage it.
09:59Such observations are not setbacks but stepping stones, guiding engineers to iterate and improve
10:23upon the existing design.
10:25It's through these real-world tests that Tracker will evolve from a promising prototype to
10:30a dependable tool.
10:33However, compared to international counterparts like Boston Dynamics' Spot or Unitary Robotics'
10:38Geo2, which offer advanced autonomy and stability, there is a clear benchmark to aspire to.
10:46For Indian robotics to compete on this stage, sustained investment in research, development
10:51and real-world application is crucial.
10:54We believe that Tracker's journey is just the beginning and with continued effort, it
10:59has the potential to not only match but innovate beyond current expectations.
11:04I feel there is a revolution coming, robots like Tracker are going to completely change the
11:10way we look at technology, be it defense, industry and even your homes.
11:15These things are coming there very soon, how soon?
11:17We cannot say right now, but will I replace my real dog with this one?
11:22I don't think so, I love my dog, I like my dog, there is absolutely no comparison.
11:25And speaking of comparisons, we have Android and iOS, which one will you go for?
11:38Both phones are going minimalist.
11:41Flat screens, flat backs and camera bumps so tiny, they practically don't exist.
11:49What does that get you?
11:51No annoying desk wobble.
11:54That's a win in my book.
11:57The iPhone 16e does feel a bit more premium in hand, like it shops at a designer section.
12:05But the Pixel 9a brings more colour options to the table.
12:09It's the extrovert here.
12:12As for the notch on the iPhone?
12:13It's 2025 Apple.
12:16Think it's time for a change.
12:18The Pixel's punch hole camera just looks cleaner and more modern.
12:24The Pixel 9a gives you a 6.3 inch OLED.
12:27iPhone 16e goes slightly smaller at 6.1 inches.
12:33Both look great.
12:34Vivid colours, nice contrast, solid viewing angles.
12:38But here is where the Pixel flexes.
12:41It's 120Hz refresh rate.
12:44Meanwhile, the iPhone is still stuck at 60Hz, like it's in 2019 and refuses to leave.
12:51Also, under direct sunlight, the iPhone display dims like it is trying to save power, but the
12:57content experience isn't affected.
13:01On paper, the Pixel wins.
13:03Dual cameras, 48MP main plus 13MP ultra-wide.
13:08The iPhone 16e just won 48MP main shooter.
13:13No ultra-wide, no fun.
13:38Cool.
13:39The promise.
13:40wirklich cold.
13:41The 7MPIS.
13:43Go on.
13:43All right.
13:44Go on.
13:45Go on.
13:45The Pixel are the outside.
13:46Go on.
13:46andal.
13:46Go on.
13:47Go on.
13:48When the penguins seems so successful, like the overstay I'm not shooting off,عct til
13:50the mirror on camera.
13:50Go on Vlog's over.
13:51Be nice.
13:52Go on.
13:52нова.
13:52Go, off.
13:53Go on.
13:54Go.
13:57Go.
