00:00And now they start up out in Chavez Ravine, a big four-game series tonight.
00:06And they've won.
00:08They just swept the Rockies.
00:10And they've won 8 of 10.
00:11How do you think they'll do out on the West Coast against them?
00:14I was watching and talking to Carver High.
00:18I was watching the Yankees and Dodgers, you know, kind of over the weekend
00:21and watching them last night.
00:23And they're tough customers.
00:25They're hard to beat.
00:26I couldn't believe they beat Yamamoto.
00:28How do you think the Mets do this time out West as opposed to beating them twice at City?
00:35Well, you know, Scott, I don't know if you saw the news about a half hour ago.
00:38The Major League Baseball made the announcement that those three wins against the Rockies
00:41only count for half a win each.
00:43So I don't know if that's going to affect the upcoming series against the Dodgers.
00:509 and 50.
00:52All right.
00:52Are you doing stand-up now on the side too down there?
00:56What is happening?
00:57It's been a while since we've been on.
00:59Mafia gave me some topics.
01:00I said, you know what?
01:01I'm going to build a comedy show around it.
01:03But no, there are some teams that can go toe-to-toe with L.A., the Phillies, the Mets.
01:09I would have thought the Braves, honestly, with their pitching too.
01:12But look, it shouldn't be a surprise that the Mets can fight with some of the best teams in the league.
01:17They have the second-highest payroll in baseball.
01:18So, yeah, I mean, I think it'll be a really good series.
01:22You just have to wonder, you know, from a betting perspective, honestly, coming off the weekend that the Dodgers just had against the Yankees, how they may respond against the Mets.
01:30That was kind of their pinnacle of the season, winning two out of three.
01:33So I give the Mets a good shot this week.
01:34So a lot of people, I thought as well, that Arizona was going to be tougher than they are.
01:42They're kind of falling apart.
01:44I saw the Pirates beat them up for 19 runs in two days.
01:48I saw Gallen get lit up.
01:52I mean, this is a problem, right?
01:54Like this team was kind of loaded with pitchers and now burns his elbow.
01:59Did he not just say Saturday he blew his elbow out?
02:04It sounds like it.
02:06That could be something that they're not going to be able to overcome.
02:09I know they signed Eduardo Rodriguez a couple of years ago.
02:12He's been in and out, on and off the injured list.
02:15He'll come back, obviously.
02:16And, you know, they haven't had burns in the past, and they still did well.
02:20To me, that was one of the teams that I looked at and said that they underachieved through the first couple of months.
02:25And I still do like their team, and I like their organization.
02:27But losing burns, if this is a season-long thing, and I'm not sure that it is, obviously.
02:32It's hard to speculate with the arm and stuff like that.
02:34But I don't – there's no replacing that guy.
02:36Just ask the Orioles, right?
02:37So, yeah, it remains to be seen if Arizona can get it done.
02:41I still think that, to me, the Diamondbacks are better than the Giants.
02:46I just don't know if they're better than the Padres.
02:48That would be the team that they'll have to fight back and forth with.
02:51What do you think of Bubik and what Scoobal – Scoobal we're used to?
02:58And Scoobal is getting better than ever.
03:00I saw Greg Maddox talking about him in an article about how he's just getting better and better and learning that it's not just one Cy Young.
03:07He might win more of them.
03:08And what do you think of this kid Bubik in Kansas City?
03:11He's been great, too.
03:12Royal staff is really good.
03:14They get Caglione up now, and that's the big story of baseball today.
03:17How good can he be?
03:19The Royals did not wait any longer.
03:20June 1st, they called him up.
03:2212-1 to win the Rookie of the Year, Scott, without playing a game in the first two months.
03:26You're kidding me?
03:27Right?
03:28So, he was fantastic in AAA, right?
03:32Like, his numbers are staggering.
03:33Let me repeat myself.
03:36He has not played a game.
03:37We're two months into the season, and FanDuel makes him 12-1 this morning because he's gotten called up.
03:42Help me understand this.
03:43He has the second-shortest odds to win the Rookie of the Year of the American League.
03:47Jacob Wilson of the A's has played two months.
03:49He's hitting .320.
03:50I mean, it just tells you how the book's got to protect themselves, I guess.
03:54But, I mean, can a guy come up in June and win Rookie of the Year?
