00:00The 161st mass shooting this year has taken place at a 16th birthday party.
00:05On Saturday night, Alexis, her brother Phil, and some 50 others were out celebrating her birthday.
00:09The scene was an old bank-turned-dance studio in Dadeville, Alabama.
00:13By 10.30 p.m., police were alerted to gunfire.
00:15Four were dead and 28 others injured.
00:17Tragically, we now know that one of the victims is 18-year-old Phil Dowdle.
00:21He is described as the hometown hero just weeks away from graduation
00:24and committed to Jacksonville State for football.
00:27A second victim is 17-year-old Kiki Smith.
00:29She was a volleyball player and team manager for the Dadeville High School track team.
00:33This morning, police also released the third and fourth victims, including 19-year-old Marcia Collins.
00:38He had been accepted into LSU and was pursuing a career in music.
00:42Finally, there is 23-year-old Corbin Holston.
00:44He actually went into the party to check on a family member, but did not make it back out.
00:48As for a motive, a local pastor has said that a man from outside of the community opened fire after an argument.
00:54But the DJ at the party has said that gunfire erupted after those with guns were asked to leave.
00:58The only thing police have said is that there is not an ongoing threat.
