00:00And billions from this legislation are going to be going to border security
00:05and enacting President Trump's immigration policies. Speaker Mike Johnson said that this
00:10bill would secure the border. What do you make of that funding? Well, I think that we all want
00:16border security, but what we don't want is cruelty. We don't want people who are contributing
00:22positively to our society and our economy who are doing everything the right way towards
00:29trying to live their American dream. And just as my grandparents came to this country
00:35for a better opportunity and better work opportunities, safer places to live, I think
00:45that we want criminals out of this country. We want people who are in gangs or dealing drugs or
00:53involved in any sort of violent criminal activity or other criminal activity. We want them out.
00:59But that's far different from what Stephen Miller and people like him are talking about. Stephen
01:04Miller is saying that they want a quota of 3000 deportations a day. And we currently lack the
01:12capacity to do anywhere near that. So I worry that the idea here is to go after people who
01:18are contributing positively to our economy and our society. It's something we're already seeing
01:24in our communities. And for me, the American dream is all about being able to come from
01:31other parts of the world and work hard, play by the rules and do great in the United States.
01:37And I particularly worry when we are discouraging the future entrepreneurs, the future scientists and
01:45engineers, people that we know are going to lead the way in technology and innovation. I want them to come to
01:51the United States and to grow the next great company and to create all those jobs, all that opportunity
01:57and all that innovation here in the United States. And I do worry that we're losing our way.
