00:00hey what's up I'm Sam with Benquad I'm Edgar and we're here in Chicago at the

00:15Metro and we're on tour with free throw and Harrison Gordon right now

00:19celebrating the 10th anniversary of those days are gone and we're going to

00:23give you a little tour of the van here if you want to follow along perfect so

00:27um this is the the the cockpit for lack of a better term usually we've got me

00:33sitting passenger and we've got our TM M Hartman here doing most of the driving

00:40this tour which has been a blessing we're usually really grateful our RTMs have

00:43always been really nice about sharing the wheel and doing a lot of that kind of

00:47stuff of course you know we got our our snacks and whatnot up here this live off

00:52these this is the best breakfast you can possibly get on tour absolutely and then

00:55of course just to keep keep things going but yeah yeah we'll let this was a gift

01:04from our friend Wombo in Texas I think Cory from free throw also has a matching

01:09shirt really just stuff up here that kind of helps us you know make the drives a

01:15little easier we just did a 12-hour drive yesterday we listen to honestly what the

01:20music is kind of all over the place yeah the music's all over the place we kind of

01:23what we do is we listen to audio from TV shows a lot so we'll like just play like

01:28South Park episodes and like I'll be back there kind of like imagining the scene

01:32something that yeah something that you've watched before so that way you don't

01:36actually have to pay attention to the show you can kind of just listen to it

01:39almost like a podcast that makes the hours go by so much quicker and that was

01:43actually something that our new TM M brought up on this tour that TV shows were a

01:47good way to make it go um so yeah yeah that's other than that the stuff that's not

01:51usually you know or stuff that's not here that's usually up here whole lot of

01:54empty water bottles and Gatorade bottles all over the side we have we were lucky

01:59enough to get a Grimace toy at McDonald's on this run something that we've all been

02:03really hoping that we get so I don't know if you can see this oh yeah yeah

02:08stuff up here this is perfect this is we had this was at a barcade in Denver I'm

02:12just outside of the venue we played there we took some great photos got some good

02:16friends there that's M you can you can see who M is now and then this is us the Ass

02:21family we've got you know dumb kiss lazy smart and this is what happens when

02:24you're wise cuz cuz M is not a fan of sarcasm when we're doing long drives so

02:29you really have to watch out for the wise ass but yeah yeah this is this is the

02:34cockpit this is this is where a lot of the magic happens and I think that's it

02:38up here let's show you the back yeah all right perfect so let's go ahead and

02:42let's take a look on the inside here yeah nothing too fancy this is a rental

02:48so usually what you get is you know trash can and then just our random trash

02:55that we throw around that is very important honestly like this is highly

02:59underrated I feel like I see a lot of vans that don't have a trash can in there

03:01genuinely we need a bigger one if I had to if I had to ask for another one yeah no

03:07your classic your bottles just kind of rolling around stuff that we we take from

03:10our green room this is on our writer and so whatever left over in the green

03:14room the classic chuck it in the van at the end of the night who's is this I

03:19think this is mine is this yours Rether made a pretty cool yeah look at these

03:23show them the yeah yeah it's really nice so this they were so nice and and they

03:30got a specific hoodies so this is shredgers hoodie with with all of the the

03:38tour information on there really cool stuff that kind of that kind of thing is

03:41really nice you know for the staff and for all the bands having something unique

03:44like this while we're on the road kind of makes you feel special um let's see

03:48Edgar look you want to get in there yeah I heard from someone that I have a

03:51little surprise back here okay let's see what happens

03:56yeah so usually you know you have the drivers up there and then kind of the

04:01seating arrangement we had is you know Isaac or drummer right here and then we had a

04:06guitar tech touring with us for a couple days me and him would sit back here have

04:11a lot of sex and then it looks like we have a little shrine here's the pick of

04:17the two of us and then here he is eating chicken but yeah not too much happens

04:21back here we're just chillin alright so row by row here this is Henry's row and I

04:27hate to put him on blast when he's not here but he does kind of keep it like he

04:31keeps his room we're roommates um we've got we've got some nice sticky chocolate

04:37uh bars we've got a nice thing of chips here uh Gatorade that is actually really

04:41important uh Henry's our other singer as well and I will say any type of like

04:45these kind of electrolyte things Gatorade things are really good for you but drink

04:48another bottle of water with it or you get a kidney stone that's that's that's a

04:53tip for you there um what else we got we also got Henry our little devil here

04:58our little devil here we don't we you know I don't want to no brand names I

05:02don't we're not necessarily sponsored so let's see what else does he have back

05:04here he does have a classic uh car snack the peanut m&m that is I mean if you

05:10just want a little crunch a little sweet that's exactly what you need what else

05:13does he have oh yeah yeah this is ours this is the Woody Guthrie Museum Woody

05:18Guthrie big Oklahoman uh where we're from uh a super far leftist we love him uh all you

05:24fascists bound to lose so this is yeah Henry's this is Henry's spot a pretty chill

05:28Pat what do we got back here who's next so next is Isaac um he tends to be pretty uh

05:33organized back here so yeah he's got you know special pillows because he does yeah

05:39he has neck problems you know and and being in a van for this long it does a

05:44number on you uh so it's important it's important to have your own pillow we just

05:48like stopped at this Asian market so I think he has some cool ass snacks

05:51some some kind of rare lays he likes that kind of stuff um yeah just a bunch of rare shit yeah

05:59that's that's our boy if you can't find him with us he's probably at a noodle shop or something like

06:03that he loves that kind of stuff yeah so he mostly stays there and uh like I said earlier um I usually

06:10just like nestle up in here with my pillow and then our guitar tech he sleeps here he's not with us

06:18right now he's on tour with this this band called tiny voices and I think he'll be back at the end

06:22of the tour hopefully but uh yeah we have a little shrine to uh remind ourselves that he's coming

06:28back yeah do it for Louie he really is tiny voices stars hollow uh uh ends well incredible bands we're

06:36so lucky to have uh uh honestly great people in our in our crew uh for lack of a better term uh but

06:42yeah do it for Louie that's that's really that's I think that's the whole point of this tour

06:45at the end of the day he kind of became a mascot uh the first couple weeks so I don't know do it

06:52for Louie what is back here what do we got oh here we go that's a great sight right away

06:57all right I'll just go with this real quick we got our fun box got a little little football just in

07:06case you know we're uh we're without a green room or something like that or if it's just a beautiful day

07:09really fun to toss the ball around get your legs going when you've been stuck in the car

07:12very important paper towels just like the trash bags and the trash can

07:16now this box I will say oh here air mattress also very important when you have a lot of people

07:22sometimes you don't want to pay for two rooms when there's just like an odd number so this is this is

07:26the classic uh someone's next to the couch sort of situation but this this is great this is we have

07:32some fans down in Texas who uh always bring us a lot of snacks every time we're around um also

07:39great artists there as you can see uh uh Capri Suns great road uh drink fruit snacks I'm telling

07:46Scooby-Doo come on it doesn't get any better than that that's a classic uh what isn't in here that

07:51we ate a lot of our Cheez-Its that's another really good road snack uh also I just found this

07:57in the back today dude that's my secret stash are you kidding me you've had a secret stash this entire

08:01time I did not know about this back here I was looking back here earlier today I haven't dug into

08:06that I have some white rice no you haven't dug into it because I haven't heard about any of this

08:09we've been on the road for two weeks I brought an air fryer but I never get to use it because

08:14we're never buying the stores but it's there we need it it is the air fryer is actually really clutch

08:20when the venue has food but you don't have a lot of time to eat it throughout the day you know

08:24you're running around and stuff so sometimes the venue will have a restaurant connected they'll get

08:27you some food but by the time you get to it it's cold not with this puppy I heated up so many

08:33burritos and stuff in this thing uh in green rooms it is really handy if you've got the room for it

08:38uh what else is back here we keep all sorts of uh like our extra uh hardware for our rig and vinyl

08:46we also keep back here just because vinyl you don't really want to leave it in the trailer just in case

08:50uh you know water damage or that sort of thing it also it melts really easy so you don't want it and

08:56you want it you want it in a controlled area um oh yeah Isaac's fancy shirt he hasn't worn that

09:02for some reason he has not worn this yet but this is Isaac's favorite shirt he keeps it out just so

09:06it doesn't get ruined in his suitcase or anything um but this is this is his I don't know maybe his

09:11lucky shirt uh uh this is this is a we love to see him in it he hasn't worn it yet this tour but maybe

09:16whichever show gets it that they're they're a lucky crowd this is Isaac our drummer what else I think

09:23oh also very important the boot this is you never know what city you're going to be in and some

09:29cities have uh theft problems especially when you are a moving target with an out-of-state plate

09:35a u-haul and a sprinter you are you are literally a moving target so this this is always really good

09:41keep it on the trailer keep it on the van we have two of them uh just you know even even if you know

09:47even if people have a way to get around them it does it hinders it and a lot more people won't

09:51mess with your stuff so very important to have this kind of thing cool yeah that was it that's the

09:56van uh again it's a rental so they kind of defer depending on the tour but this is usually our

10:02setup and this is kind of how we've we've done it the last couple years uh let's I mean we're so we
